Without a min wage, min wage becomes (eventually) what you need to make in order to get the bare requirements to stay alive (food/water...in it's cheapest form). It might take awhile to get there, and all jobs won't end up at that level, but that is how you start down that road.

Min wage keeps even the amount you have to pay people under the table up, without it, you could end up paying people $1-2$ and hour in many areas quite easily.

Not even gonna bothering listing places where this is already the case outside of our country.

My favorite is the "being paid Company Funbucks (tm), only redeemable at our Company Funbucks Store (tm)".

You can't unionize a job that they are already ready to replace, it's just not cost efficient yet. All it would do is push Mc D's etc to speed up the process of automating their chains, with just maybe 1 actual human employee there at a time to deal with machines breaking down etc.

Even if they paid that 1 employee twice what current ones make, it would be a great long term profit for them.

Except mechanics make waaaay more than $22, except you don't have pure mechanics, it would also heavily require electronics, which need a completely different skillset to actually fix it.

If it works for them, that's fine.

Yup. That and a feeling of boredom. Some games I play for hours, others for minutes, and I'm already bored.

You just need to be more careful about the sort of games that you pick out to play.
You can't really play DotA or LoL or the other medium scale multiplayer games because you can only get a couple games out of it.

It's now about getting stuff that has shorter gametime with a high amount of action in them to get the "videogamy" feel to it.

Oh, and JRPGs are out unless you set aside a weekend and just go f***ing ham on it and poopsock it.

It's a refurbished house turned into some apartments, which is fair enough that it will be a bit weird, but there's piping leading to the sink and if you're tearing into walls, just fix that.

Besides, as was said earlier, males in general are more territorial and predisposed to violence. Males are usually bullies in school and are quicker to become confrontational. The movie loses something without that aspect.

Now, if they made Piggy super skinny for reasons, yeah that would be a bad change, because that was half of his personality was based on the fact that he was fat.

I didn't see the problem before, and I don't see it now.
Are people are pissed off because they have to pay money for mods, or that they're giving money to Bethesda? Because that's dumb, people are spending time and effort into something, and they should have the option of getting that money back.

It will push the market for mods out? Except the people who want to make free mods still can, and people who want to spend the extra effort and get paid for it can do so.

I guess the question is how armored you were looking to be then.

There is the Spellsword in the Complete Warrior which lets you wear heavier armor faster than the Duskblade will do normally.

There is also the Eldritch Knight if you want get into a prestige class late, which is pretty boring and straightforward, but works.

Also Runesmith if you want to be a Dwarf.

Because Broken would be a great term for the inactive people, but not for a world full of love and hope for things.

I could use some help btw for writing and chosing specific word choices.
So I am working on re-writing all of the DnD stats to emotional stats.
Like Strength turns into Fury, Constitution turns into Stuborness, and I'm splitting Wisdom into Faith and some sort of emotional-feeling sort of name.
I'm just struggling to find good names for Dexterity, Intelligence, Charisma, and said half of Wisdom for reading people/animals plus nature stuff.

I want to have a more emotional base for DnD characters, and then shove them in a generic dungeon to see how they do. Do the players roleplay more/differently? Do they have stronger emotions now that they have numbers to them? Do they fight monsters differently?

Any help for this would be appreciated.
