If I don't use nostalgia googles and I try to look at them all now as a critic I'd be tempted to say 9, but the ATB was slow, trance was terrible, and the summons were nerfed. As a critic 9 would literally be the worst so I doubt you should use that term. Its slow battle system and long load times by themselves are a deal breaker on performance issue alone; battles take up to 10 seconds just to load. Imagine how monotonous that is. Every random encounter. Every single random encounter. You're stuck watching a blank screen and checking your watch to see how much time has elapsed. --- |
