President Obama tweeted a Nelson Mandela quote that said "love comes more naturally to the human heart." But does it really? I find more people full of hate in this world than of love. Those full of love simply don't last long in this brutal world and they must eventually learn to hate. And I don't mean hate in the tense of White Supremism, I mean it in the tense of how we are all cruel creatures and how we need to be on top of each other in order to make it through life. |

Inherent hate doesn't mean he cannot interact with someone he hates. There are tons of people who see black people as inferior, but they still talk and interact with them because they are smart enough to know the consequences of saying stupid shit and expressing their degraded views. I don't think many businesses and organizations out there want any association with white supremacist groups and Neo Nazi organizations. It's not just a matter of opinion. The only reason businesses and organizations don't want an association is because of PR. If they were hard, loyal workers, I doubt their bosses would think about firing them unless they were extremely against their ideology. Again, I have friends and acquaintances with opinions and ideas with which I absolutely despise, but I like them for their other traits so I keep them. That's what I see from all of this. |

We have the 1st amendment for a reason. I don't agree with White Supremacists but they have the right to be an asshole since it's technically legal to be one. Unless it's an actual crime someone was persecuted for, I don't think they should be fired. Work life and personal life should stay separate. Unfortunately, PR matters a lot these days. As long as they don't spew their beliefs at me or treat me like an asshole, I wouldn't care whether or not I am working with/employing a white supremacist if they can correctly do their job. There are lots of friends and even family I have and we disagree on a lot of political things. Some of it even has to do with race. Best thing to do? Avoid talking about sensitive topics unless it is necessary. Mentioning hate groups, unfortunately, some political beliefs are basically hate groups. There is a thin line between some beliefs and a straight out hate group. |
