EternalDivide 08/10/17 2:25:27 AM #9:	Very. Yet cautious at the same time. They did give us that borefest Fallout 4 after all. I've posted my thoughts on this in depth before. But I don't think it will be a TES VI: insert new land. It will be Skyrim 2. Skyrim was the behemoth it was not because of it was TES. It was the setting, the look of it, the advertising. It had almost this palpable "Look at this game! Look at the badass character you can play as! Look at these cool snow covered mountains you live in! Look at this badass dragon you're going to fight! Look at this badass mother fucking game! Buy this game!" feeling to it. Idk quite how to describe it. It was as if the starts aligned in it's favor between all the aesthetics and advertising. And it paid off. Not to mention I'm willing to bet at least half of those 30 million (and counting) that bought the game don't know or care about TES. To them it's Skyrim. And that's the audience Bethesda is going to aim for now. That massive, bigger than CoD audience isn't looking for TES VI. They're looking for and will recognize a Skyrim 2. Plus think of it. TES VI: Valenwood with some dirty ugly elf on the cover? TES VI: Elsweyr with a cat man on the cover? From a pure mass market appeal standpoint that's not going to fly. --- FFVII Remake: A disaster in the making. Wedge Antilles 08/10/17 2:25:40 AM #10:	I played Oblivion first, then Morrowind, then Skyrim. Without the nostalgia factor, I find Morrowind to be the weakest of the three. No fast travel, the landscape is visually ugly with a lot of brown and grey, no map markers (some people seem to like this, but wandering around looking for a cave entrance for 20 minutes is not fun for me). It was still a really good game, but the other two improved on the formula. --- I used the knife. I saved a child. I won a war. I realize that Morrowind was not that great (Hey guys! Look at all the beautiful brown and the pointlessly complex percentages for level up!). Fallout 4 was fun and had my favorite companions.
