They come to the ring. "First things first, Harper, even though you joined the wrong team you have done nothing against me personally. You may go. You will be in the battle royal for number 29 entrant in the Royal Rumble. As for Mr. Cena and Mr. Ambrose, you two promised me that one of you will miss the Royal Rumble. Therefore, tonight, you will face each other LOSER is OUT, WINNER is IN!" (91) The battle royal ensued next. The entrants were: Riley vs Roode vs Braun vs Wyatt vs Bully vs Sandow vs Ziggler vs Kane vs Finn vs Mark Henry vs MVP vs Rollins vs Shelton Benjamin Bobby Roode has a good showing with eliminations to some of the fodder in Ziggler, Sandow, Riley, and MVP. We saw Bray Wyatt go head to head with the Demon King and Kane. Wyatt was able to eliminate Kane before almost being taken out by Finn but Wyatt was saved by Strowman and Balor was eliminated by Harper. There was a fake Wyatt reunion until Harper and Braun through Wyatt out of the ring. Braun then went to eliminate Bully, Mark Henry, Rollins, and Shelton Benjamin. Leaving a final three of Roode, Harper, and Roode. Roode was unable to overcome the team of Bruan and Harper. Harper would then win the battle royal by pulling down the top rope when Braun dove over the top rope. (78) Renee Young attempts to talk to Bobby Roode. Roode is furious. He calls all of this "a GLORIOUS DISASTER" but that's okay because unlike every other idiot around here he is going to save his rematch for the opportune moment. (100) AJ Styles in the ring celebrating that the "CHAMP. IS. HERE", he is the "CHAMP WHO RUNS THE CAMP" and that SmackDown in this universe is FINALLY the house that "AJ STYLES BUILT!" At Royal Rumble, he is ready to take on all comers! Enter Chris Jericho, who unlike Randy Orton from a month ago, earned a shot at AJ Styles by defeating Randy Orton. Randy Orton comes and calls Jericho a "Sham" and that AJ Styles will be facing Randy Orton at the Royal Rumble. Styles says he is willing to take on all comers and he will take on both at the Royal Rumble!! (98) Austin Aries defended his Cruiserweight Title against Evan Borne. (76) After the match, Austin Aries has declared that the "Cruiserweight Division" is beneath him. There is NO ONE there that is worth his time and he is tired of carrying a paper title. "You know, a long time ago in a company far far away there was this thing with this title where I turned it in for a chance to take on the World Champion. It think now would be a good time to do the same. I am turning in 'Option C' and will be challenging --" Aries is cut off to Triple H who interrupts him and belittles him "this is not some backwater company, this is the WWE." Triple H tells Aries that he has done well lately and he will give him the next best thing he may relinquish his CW title for a chance at Sami Zayn at Royal Rumble. Aries is furious but he accepts. Triple H tops him off and says IF he can beat Kofi next week. (95) With Wyatt in his corner and in a Rowan like jumpsuit, 'No Wyatt Jose' defeats D-Von. (55) Bully has an interview with Velvet Sky saying that at the rumble it doesn't matter what number he is he will win. (92) Cena and Ambrose exchange pleasantries before their match. (90) Ambrose defeats John Cena. Clean. (71) Triple H comes out and has a long speech congratulating Dean Ambrose on entering the Rumble. But onto other business, John Cena. YOU'RE FIRED!!! Also, Ambrose, for winning this match, you will be entering the Rumble at the ever coveted number 1. And that ladies and gents, is BEST FOR BUSINESS!
