Yeah if they were going for new York similarities it would have made more sense to have the airport in Portland and give it like a queens/Brooklyn vibe. (Maybe they were going for a jersey vibe with the cliffs?). Staunton is definitely manhattan, but shoreside makes no damn sense.

Cliffs in Jersey?

I mean I get the system wasn't called "PlayStation 1" so it doesn't technically make sense to call it PS1. But if Sony ever makes PlayStation X, we'll have to find something else to call it.

Well it was kinda just coined by fans as PSX. Then they made the mini playstation and called it ps one (this was when ps2 was in development and then later after launch).

I believe there was a PSX at some point that was like a powerful ps2 or a developer tool or something. It's been a good 15 years since I read about it though so I could be wrong.

Edit: yes, it was ps one not ps1

Lol both my fiance and I have decent pensions. I am able to retire at 55, and I'll max out my pension at age 58.

I also save money outside of that. It's just that there are other priorities as well. Canada has an education savings plan that matches up to 20% of your annual contribution up to $2500. I'd be silly not to contribute seeing as there is a 20% return BEFORE the tax free interest on the total investment.

That said I bought a real body on frame SUV. I'm not going to pay out the ass for gas to drive a raised station wagon.

Right now we have the perfect mix of vehicles. A small diesel sedan with amazing mileage for long drives and a mid sized suv to haul all the kid stuff around in and go off roading occasionally (you have to go pretty far off the beaten path to go shooting here legally)

I woke up on a couch in a hotel room in Thailand (and not the hotel I was staying in).

My aunt and uncle were staying in the hotel so I knew the decor but had no idea how I ended up there, why I didn't have my wallet, my suit jacket, or my dress shoes (I had my Adidas casual shoes)

Turns out I got plastered at my cousins wedding, my sister took my wallet, suit jacket and shoes back to the hotel, and then I hit it off with the brides brothers and we were going to go to strip clubs, so my cousin took me upstairs and I crashed in the living room of the honeymoon suite (bedroom was separate).

Not my brightest moment. Though there is still a picture of my floating around giving a thumbs up with my head in the toilet.

I regret getting plastered in Thailand. Went to a wedding in Bangkok and woke up at a hotel on the wrong side of the river. The heat and humidity made the ensuing boat ride back to my side probably the worst hangover experience I've ever had.... and I've had a 3 day hangover before.
