Yeah it really is gross.

What I did was mix brown and white rice untill I started getting a taste for brown.

I also will use low sodium soy sauce to give it some flavor

Me and my fiance will sometimes make chicken, egg and rice cause it's fast and easy; only thing is she loves how I make it much more than when she does. The only thing I do differently than her is use white rice instead of brown. Even after I point out the difference she still has the audacity to claim that brown rice is superior and more delicious than white.

Cook brown rice in chicken broth, it'll taste better.

Brown rice is ok sometimes but white rice is so much more delicious.

Basmati and jasmine are my top two. Basmati just works so well for stir fry or butter chicken or whatnot.

tbh the important thing is that it's long-grain. after that it doesn't really matter
probably basmati if I had to pick, but jasmine just tastes so good it's hard to resist
