The charity has around 3-4 projects that they are trying to get funding for right now. They already have funders in mind (most foundations but I am going to try to convince them to apply for government funding as well if they're not doing that). Basically what I do is write concept notes, which are 2-3 page documents explaining the concept and organization. If the funder likes the concept note, then they invite us to draft a complete project proposal which is a 10-20 page document that details everything about the project, from the budget to the timeline and outcomes of the project.

It's a fairly large charity so getting funding should be pretty easy, I think. If I do well they might even hire me, or at least pay me something, but that's not a guarantee.

At a charity, it's a grant writing position which is a few hours a week. I have grant writing training and they were really impressed with my work so they took me on.

I'm really glad I got this position because I really needed a win.

you have to be a textbook Christian. for simplicity let's just say it's Catholicism (meaning faith PLUS work)

at my job recently, a restaurant, a lot of the waiters/bartenders have quit. i was thinking of trying to become a server (i work in the kitchen), but i don't know if the management will like that idea. i know the menu really well since i've prepared most of the food, so i think i have a chance.
