I killed the Jaeger with a COOKIE! I already love this game.

And attacking Space Quartz that uses 40% of my EP! And Information quartz that I can actually use!

The new boss music gives a very different feel. It's gonna take some getting used to.

Prologue isn't so tough yet. Both of the Jaegers I've fought were a bit annoying but I didn't have any real issues. Nothing can be worse than being stuck trying to defeat 4 Wisdoms* or a pack of wolves on Nightmare without being able to grind. Hell, to defeat Dalmore's pets I had to cheese them by hiding in a corner and using Estelle and Kloe's corpses as human shields!

*I actually don't think this fight is possible without godly RNG that would come up my way only extremely rarely unless you use Deathblow 2 quartz. I'll take whatever victories I can.

Thank Aidios that there aren't much Quartz I can make right now. I'd face the paralysis of choice far too early otherwise. And I'm sorry lefty and Quinton, but Anelace is going to be beating things to death for a while.

New fight music! I love Sophisticated Fight, but people in VGMCX were right, it does get old after a while.

I don't think I'll ever understand the huge love for CT and FFVI. Both are good, but nothing really special to me. Then again I think JRPGs have mostly only improved since the 90s so I don't hold a lot of them in high regard

I'm the complete opposite. I have a hard time understanding anyone who doesn't hold CT and FFVI in their top 5 at least. JRPGS have only gotten worse since the 90s. (There are a few exceptions)

Oh yeah, new music. FC's OST is part of the rotation I listen to while working, so having another soundtrack will be nice.

One thing interesting that I noticed is that Agate recognized Joshua playing The Whereabouts of Light, which is Erebonian. Between that and his interactions with Lorence, I think we'll be getting some interesting backstory on him (and how Mischa's death shaped him).

I'm vaguely aware that Kevin plays some role in 3, but not much beyond that. I'm having trouble deciding if I like or despise him. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt for now (but he will never replace Olivier in my heart).

My heart aches at Estelle's broken-hearted naivete.

I just finished Trails FC on a clean 100%* Nightmare save, and I'm in no mood to play on Nightmare again for some time, so Hard it is! The game recognizes my save data so everything is good.

The school year is ending so updates will probably be weird and sporadic for a while, especially if I end up going on vacation, but I'm so hyped for this game I can't see myself playing anything else.

I'm pretty sure Loewe, whom Joshua mentioned when confronting Alba in the park, is Lorence, but aside from that I'm entirely in the dark. It's time to embark on a quest throughout Liberl to find some pizza cake.
