In the first Superman/Batman crossover, they make it clear that Joker doing goofy shit that no one expects is what lets him mostly get away with fucking with supers. He's countered directly by Batman who can, in fact, predict him. So long as it doesn't get overused, I think it's a good way of handling it. And the DCAU does it two or three times total, so that's pretty good. lilORANG posted... Also Supes never uses his damn eye lazers. This never bothered me in the DCAU, but it drives me insane in Supergirl. --- |

The introduction of a 'school of magic' does imply that maesters use magic. But that means either: I don't think it was even mentioned that he'd been raising the dead at the Citadel, just that he was murdering people and studying black magic. It's also not a choice between "he's a white walker mage" or "he's Frankenstein." Mirri Maz Dur, the red priest, and hell, even Dany were able to raise the dead without using White Walker magic or science. Darkman124 posted...
