Keep in mind it's slower paced than what you'd expect. It's about life in a large marketing firm as the culture transitions from the '50(men are in charge, women are in the kitchen) to the '60(civil rights, women's equality, counter culture)

Gunstar heroes doesn't feel quite right. It's close as fuck, but I'm pretty sure what I'm thinking of had more of a steampunk vibe to it. I remember the art being really cool. Perhaps I'm confused with a snes game? Argh.

Regardless, you need to play Gunstar Heroes if you haven't.

wah_wah_wah posted...
There was too much obvious focus on making it a franchise like Sonic that they forgot to make it have gameplay like Sonic. Even the first Bubsy, I mean I rented that bastard a bunch of times, but it wasn't good. Sonic levels are designed for you to be able to get through them quickly because Sonic is a fast character so it has to be designed that way, whereas Bubsy has speed but if you even so much as try to use it, you'll quickly run into an enemy and watch the hy-lair-e-us death animation.

I mean there was a bunch of cool mechanics (waterslides, flying like an airplane) but none of them came together within the levels in a way that wasn't completely dangerous to try to utilize them. The best way to beat it was just to walk slowly through it. And that's boring.

This was it's biggest problem. You could run soooo fast but after 2 seconds, you'd run to your death. As a kid I always enjoyed the animations in the first game. I still love the first game but it's really hard because of the floaty controls.

My parents would kiss me on the lips when they would put me to bed as a very young child. I grew out of it around 2nd grade.

Kids are very affectionate and mimic what they see. My brother in law would try to kiss me on the lips when I would leave his house until he was about 6 years old.

Also regarding the dog comment. It's weird I never let my dog I had growing up lick me on the face. Now wife and I have 3 small dogs, all of whom we let lick us in the face. One of them even begs for kisses which is when we give him a kiss on the nose.

Get married at the courthouse and then throw a party somewhere else.
Its cheap boyo :V

That's not very fun though. It may be girly to admit too but I've always wanted a wedding like you see in movies. Lots of people, a band ect.

I don't think you realize how much it costs to actually have a wedding you're probably imagining. I was similar to you in that I wanted a traditional wedding. My wife told me we should save our money and spend it on the honeymoon instead. I should have listened to her.

My wife and I cooked the food, made the wedding cake, decorated, made the flower arrangements, etc. All in an effort to save money. We also had a max of 50 people invited so it was a very small wedding. In the end, I still spent around $3,500. Wedding venues and wedding photographers get more and more expensive every year.

So some advice, be realistic with your money instead of spending thousands of dollars to what is really just a big party. Save the money for either the honeymoon or down payment on a house.
