Yeah, some of us have known about the some of the shared cast with Milky Holmes for some time. I found out about it pretty much around the same time that I got really into Love Live. Honoka's VA, Emi Nitta, also voices a character in one of the later seasons. Haven't watched Milky Holmes myself yet.

If you ever watch BanG Dream, there is literally a Milky Holmes band, as in a band consisting of 4 characters all voiced by the main 4 Milky Holmes characters. It's a deliberate thing since both are by Bushiroad. Haven't actually watched the BanG Dream anime as well despite playing the mobile game quite a lot. Heard it wasn't really that good anyways.

Actually the mobile game had a cover of the first Milky Holmes OP. Suzuko Mimori, Umi and Sherlock's VA, is still singing in it despite it being a cover. Only instead of hearing Sherlock, you're hearing "Umi".

Now going to SIF news, it was just announced on the KLab Stream that there will be a GLOBAL EXCLUSIVE Aqours Step-up Scouting starting tomorrow.

Dammit, I'm saving up for the next Umi UR....ok I guess I can give it at least the first step.

Oh and the next event will be Kanan/Hanamaru MedFes.

lolol that's super ironic since Sherlock is basically the same "extremely genki" archetype as Honoka, just up to 11 while the character Honoka voices in Milky Holmes is Marine, who's a "serious" archetype. It's like she and Umi switched roles. I can kind of hear that more though, since both Honoka and Marine have high feminine voices unlike Eli's soft elegant voice/Kokoro's loud obnoxious voice and Sherlock's extremely high pitched childish voice/Umi's deep mature voice. I'm really glad you shared that Umi over Sherlock voice though. That sounds utterly hilarious. Also, is there one of the second OP? I really liked that one.

Because it's popular, obviously. It being such a huge hit depresses people, and probably gets people to try it who'd ordinarily skip it.

The popular thing doesn't really apply to me since I only started anime like a year ago and am mostly going by random comments I see on youtube and crunchyroll so I don't really know what's big and what's not lol. I didn't like it because of having pretty cringeworthy characters and the dumbest MC ever. Raku is Einstein compared to him.

So I just finished sakurasou. Very great emotional moments and a pretty good ending with only one problem stopping it from being perfect and that's the fucking MCs getting cockblocked and not kissing. Urgh, I really hate that anime trope. Shiina says it's something to look forward to but apparently the LN was quite a bit worse than the anime with a rushed ending like so many ongoing harem shit so they should've just put in an original ending where they actually kiss. I guess at least he confessed? But fuck, literally every other pair got a kiss.

lol the only pattern I have trouble with Cirno is the one where she shoots fast balls and then freezes them. The rest are pretty easy if you keep an eye on where the bullets are going to land. Which attacks are giving you the most trouble?
The patch makes it up to date with the rest of the touhou games since every single one after has the hitbox. Honestly, I feel without the patch it just makes it a bit more fake difficulty.
Oh you didn't know? In every touhou game after 2 every item will automatically get sucked to you if you move to the top of the screen. In EoSD you need to be at max power to do that while in later games you can do it at anytime. It's really helpful in EoSD since you get extra lives whenever you hit certain score checkpoints

Nice! If it's any consolation, EoSD is supposed to be one of the harder ones because a lot of stuff that become standard in later games like being able to collect power ups at the top at any time instead of only at max power aren't present. And the hitbox thing. Have you tried installing the patch that lets you see your hitbox?

I had NO FUCKING idea that the VAs of Umi, Eli, and Nico voiced Sherlock, Kokoro, and Nero respectively in Milky Holmes. I mean, I can kind of hear Nico and Nero (it's still really fucking weird since Nero sounds like a boy the whole time and Nico even at her most angry just barely sounds like Nero) but the other two sound NOTHING alike.

Can't use Occult Scrolls on unpromoted units. Ike promotes at the end of chapter 17. A four part chapter. It's not unreasonable for him to ram his level cap by then. Have fun keeping a level 20 Ike from soaking up experience with more desperate terror than you feel for the enemy units!

Sigrun isn't playable until Radiant Dawn. You do get Tanith though.

Too bad she's pretty damn awful lol. Even worse than Tanith without transfer bonuses
