If you draw a rectangle around the map and multiply width by height you don't even get lose to the arwa of the actual game world for most of these. Which is generally how they do it because calculating the actual area is hard, even for real cartographers. But for example, you ever notice how the whole SW quarter of Oblivion's map is inccessible and actually doesn't exist at all? --- |
