Disney desperately needs to find out how to make a TV show without spending sixteen quadrillion dollars. Or at least make it look fucking amazing.

Andor was really fucking expensive too but that actually felt like prestige television. Most of their shows feel like CW stuff. A live action cartoon.

I don't really understand the topic.

The Jedi don't have a monopoly on the light side of the force but they are the largest and oldest organization.

There are other smaller groups or isolated individuals but they don't tend to last or spread very far.

The Acolyte gets kind of weird because it suggests that it's illegal for other groups to recruit children. But night sisters are a known dark side group so that might be part of it.

The sith are a specific dark side cult that was founded by former Jedi, they're literally anti-Jedi. But there are lots of dark side cults or force users who aren't sith.

It's way better than some of the other Star Wars shows. It has things it does really well and things it does poorly. The witch scene is infamously terrible at this point.

I do hope it gets a season 2.

I hope we get more Star Wars shows like this and less shows that are "point at this thing you know". Boba Fett, Kenobi and Ahsoka were F tier TV.
