I think it's a bit confusing that we have a rogue TVA group deleting universes in Deadpool when that was already a thing in Loki season 2. So it's a bit of a retread.

Also TVA power level was a bit low, pretty sure they can freeze people in time among other things? Maybe the rogue group just didn't have access to that tech.

The footage was repurposed from Thor 2. I question how well Deadpool would fit into an Avengers film. He might fit better into Thor 5 given the silly mood the Thor films have been going for.

One thing this film reaffirmed for me is that they're not teleporting the X-Men to the MCU using the multiverse, aside from potentially Deadpool himself. I expect to see a whole new X-Men franchise take off after Avengers 6 or 7.

Eh, Hollywood film releases in China are a lot more restricted than they used to be and are competing with a much stronger domestic film industry.

I think Marvel's days in China are numbered. Eventually they'll be straight up banned.

I'd argue they have a quantity problem more than a quality problem right now, or at least they did (they've slowed down the last couple years). They were putting out more than was necessary to meet demand.

Dark Souls would be better if every game didn't have the same narrative.

I also think being deliberately demoralizing can be considered a factor when evaluating difficulty.

When a game actively punishes you for failure, or failure is time consuming, or when failure isn't contributing to progress in a definite way, I'd argue all that can make a game more "difficult".

It's somewhat subjective. Dark Souls isn't like a fighting game where you need to master button inputs or reflexes. But it does require a fair amount of patience and timing. Watching multiple enemies at once. Management of your health and stamina. Bosses or areas often require trial and error to master. A lot of information is obfuscated, especially to newer players.

And as a major point of comparison, most AAA games can just be facerolled by anyone above the age of 12. Action RPG is the default now. Flipping from Assassin's Creed to Dark Souls is a massive difficulty spike despite both being the same genre of games.

As someone who worked in a chicken processing plant, we historically struggled to eliminate all bones 100% of the time. It was the expectation from our customer but sometimes X-rays wouldn't catch it. So we'd get like a complaint every month about a bone being found in a nugget (we'd be processing over two million chickens per month). When I left we'd installed additional X-rays to help catch more bones, but technically only 1 pass was required by our customer.

We were making nuggets, not boneless wings, so I'm not sure if it would be easier to do with wings. I don't think it's impossible, it's just not something our process could guarantee, and I don't think there were any legal cases that went anywhere over this.

I actually dont think Dark Souls or DS3 are all that difficult. Just gotta break through those mental barriers! Never played DS2, and what I know about it I dont think Id enjoy it.

Idk I don't really like this mentality. Im not saying Dark Souls is impossibly difficult or anything, I just don't know how many action RPGs would be considered hard if you don't consider Dark Souls hard. I'm sure there's something out there that's harder, but I'd comfortably say Dark Souls is more difficult than 90% of similar games.

At least when it came out. Now games are deliberately trying to be harder than Dark Souls so things are more skewed.

Feast didn't need to exist. It was a mistake not to have a timeskip like he originally planned.

ASoIaF was originally conceived as a trilogy and the series as it currently exists isn't even on the second book of that trilogy (Dany invading Westeros).

It's not just a matter of "people didn't like the ending I had", though I'm sure that's part of it. He has completely lost control of the story and given up. We were waiting on Winds before the tv show even came out.
