Which isn't a whole lot better, granted, but you also have biotic powers to work with. It's possible to build your character in a way where you don't even need to use guns.

Not that I recommend it, space guns are half the fun. Just pointing out you have other easily accessible offensive options.

That's all streamlined, you won't have to worry about stat points. Just power upgrades.

Infiltrator and Vanguard are the best classes for 2/3. Although honorable mention to Sentinel.

I can give a quick breakdown, feel free to skip my post if you don't wanna know too much. Though it is just gameplay mechanics.

Infiltrator - If you enjoy sniping then this is the way to go. You get a Tactical Cloak as your main class power that allows you to completely vanish from enemy sight for a good amount of time. This can allow you to reposition yourself safely in a hectic situation and get a better vantage point, and it gives a nice damage increase for one shot (which breaks the cloak).

Vanguard - The complete opposite. Close range shotgun fights all day baby! You get an amazingly fun power in Biotic Charge, with the press of a button you full force ram into your target from across the room. Instantly closing the distance and stunning the enemy, allowing you to finish them off with a shotgun to the face. This is the most challenging class to use, but also the most fun.

Sentinel - This is the middle ground, Tech Armor gives you some incredible durability, basically making you a tank. So you can choose to fight from either long or short range. Jack of all trades here.

Adept is also kinda interesting, more so in ME3 where biotic explosions take the stage (they're introduced in the second game but can only be activated by one power making it much less useful).

Trick weapons are such an amazing idea and I long for their return. Essentially every weapon is worth using, the atmosphere and environments are unmatched, it's a perfect action horror game.

And yet we still can't get a Bloodborne remaster. Y'know just one of the games everyone is actually asking for.

Horizon was a great game when I first played it, loved the unique concept and the story took me by surprise. Which is something I never expected from an open world game.

However I haven't gone back to it in years because I've soured even more on open worlds. Bought the sequel and barely touched it. The map is way bigger for no reason and once I learned you didn't get the flight ability til the end of the game I checked out completely.

I should give it another shot at some point though, it might be fun to fight some robot dinosaurs again.

I have only played VII, X, and XVI.

X easily has the best ending no contest.

It hardly has to do with them being fans of star wars though, unfortunately there are just still too many racists around in general. While star wars is so incomprehensibly widespread that there's plenty of overlap with all the worst people.

That's the main problem with star wars fans, there are wayyyy too many, the franchise is too big for its own good. Lucas probably knew this better than anyone, which is why he gave it up.

But the "racist fans" aren't the majority, not even close, yet everyone including Disney wants to act like they're the ones ruining star wars for everyone else. Truthfully we have two very extreme sides to the fanbase constantly fighting with each other, and not even directly. Usually through veiled comments in an echo chamber online. Both sides are terrible, but without a doubt the most vocal. Which leads to all the negativity getting spotlighted left and right.

Meanwhile you have the majority of fans just sitting around minding their business, being relatively normal, decent people who just want a good star wars story. And we're completely ignored.

Well don't ever even bother with TotK in that case.

I recommend just filling out the map first. If you just wanna beat the game then you can do that at any time, of course completing all four Divine Beasts will make it easier.

It's not really a game about objectives though, if you don't have fun exploring then the game might just not be for you. As someone who hates open worlds in general I compleyely understand. Albeit, BotW has the only open world I've ever enjoyed.

Both equally. I have to switch hands a lot bc carpal tunnel. Start with right counterclockwise then switch to left clockwise. Mix in some random directions here and there.

Yeah there's only a few triangle commands in the game. They're special attacks that cost MP.

The other combat abilities just alter your basic combo. Some moves depend on distance, regardless you're still just pressing one button for all of em.

Meh, I would have preferred they go the Nirvana route and leave Linkin Park be as a band name. Pick a new name imo, can't have LP without Chester.

Has your friend not played the Forgotten Land? Kirby physically changes shape in many ways during that game.

Hot take: KOTOR sucks.

I think it's a game that you had to play when it was relatively new. I remember loving the combat back then, but when I tried to play the Switch version I couldn't get into it. Doesn't help that it takes like 10 hours before you get a lightsaber.

Mods make it so much better in every way though. Ultimately I actually agree that the base game sucks, but if you can play on PC it's still a fantastic game. Same for the sequel.

Other than KotOR, the only other games that contend are Rogue Squadron and original Battlefront. I'mma vote Rogue Squadron series.

Fallen Order and Survivor were also good, but some of their design elements ruin them a bit for me. Such as the fundamental mechanics being stolen from other popular games.

Honestly it's crazy to me that anyone is saying passenger.

Driving is one of my favorite things to do.

For real though, driving is fun.

It's the most stress free activity for me, I find it quite relaxing most of the time. Plus it's the best opportunity to listen to music as loud as you want.

I've always considered Spirit to be my favorite but that's largely due to the Mirror Shield, the best designed shield in any Zelda game imo. Twinrova is a great boss too.

However I have a difficult time choosing between the five temples. They're all fantastic in their own ways, atmosphere in each one is peak.

I enjoy driving so easy answer for me. Although I have no problem being the passenger if someone else wants to drive. I have no fear of wrecks or anything whatsoever in any case.

The one exception is my mother, I will always make her be the passenger if we're sharing a vehicle for some reason. Not that she would mind.

I voted earbuds but there's an asterisk to that, as I too have issues with them not staying in my ear. So I use ones that have a clip on.

Also I only use them for music, if I were to play a game with a (non-existent) friend then headphones would be preferred.

It's basically Remake but like 5x bigger and more mechanically improved.

Definitely takes you on a roller coaster, tons of ups and downs. Love it for a minute, hate it for a minute, all the way til the end.

Overall I'd say it's a great game (Queens Blood gives it a massive boost) but I haven't touched it since beating it which is unusual for me. I love replaying games.

Unless Mihawk is secretly holding some serious Haki firepower then the answer is Shanks.

I believe Shanks is currently the strongest person in the One Piece world. Waiting to be surpassed by Luffy only.

It's most certainly a desperate move, but not an unwise one. Neat idea to bring back a previous hero and cast them as a villain, I'd be down to see that for all of them.

That said, the problems with current MCU have nothing to do with the actors. Writing and direction are the biggest issue and RDJ can't save them in that regard. Russos might be able to, and I certainly have faith in them, but that doesn't mean they'll fix everything.

One can only hope though.

I will have no use for my body when I'm dead so can't imagine I'll care what happens to it at that point.

This would be a literal dream come true but devs are terrified of doing underwater gameplay. And From has no experience doing such a thing at all.

Oh I don't dislike the open world either, one of the few well designed ones in gaming.

You can find your way around without relying too much on the map or waypoints. The only other game that I feel succeeds at that is BotW (TotK to an extent, they threw that rule right out the window for the Depths though). I just don't think it needed to be AS big as it is.

The exploration is magical on the first playthrough for sure, but I'm more hesitant to make new characters since the grind in the beginning is such a drag now. Which is opposite to the previous games that all get going quickly and some of the best moments in all of them are within the first couple hours.

So maybe adding a "Great Plateau" style area in the next game would be a good idea?

I'd be happy with a new IP, especially if they collabed with Brandon Sanderson.

Though I really want more Bloodborne or Sekiro type games.

I'd also prefer them to dial back a bit on the giant open world. Large empty spaces are boring unless traversal is a core gameplay mechanic. Which is not the case here.

Don't get me wrong, Elden Ring is still a 10/10 game, I have no other complaints about it (well maybe too many reused bosses but it's understandable).

For Elden Ring, he must have realized at some point that he let players bypass them all with Torrent, so his sadistic mind gave him an idea. A rot swamp with no horse hax! And let's make it even worse than all the previous Souls swamps by putting a boss that drops a cool weapon in the most inconvenient location!

Gotta love him.

Also beating Astel on your first try is impressive to me. I have never gotten the timing down for his gravity well attack.

Alright all bosses down aside from the final one. Just gotta do some cleaning up and then time to burn some thorns.

I think my favorite boss is Messmer, but I can't confirm until I go back through with one of my other characters to solo them all. I was more focused on obtaining weapons so Mimic and I steamrolled everything. Except Gaius and Bayle, they gave me the most trouble, even with Igon's help on the latter.

Also for anyone conflicted on what to do with Jolan, get the weapon. I was led to believe Jolan and Anna were the new best spirit summon in the game but they actually suck. Mimic is still all you need.

Tbf I only tested them on a few of the hardest bosses, I'll try them out on Malenia which I bet will yield better results.

Ahh my favorite part of any Souls game, farming a single enemy over and over for its loot.

I wanted the Fire Knight Greatsword, figured it would take forever, but I actually got it pretty quick. The problem came after I had tried on the armor and loved the look of it, just needed some greaves to match... And that took another hour or two of farming. I got 3 or 4 more swords before finally getting the greaves. Absurd.

Also just found out I can't get the Black Steel Greathammer, since I killed the Black Knight in the Church of Consolation before the patch that fixed his weapon drop. I only got his lousy shield :(

Otherwise loving the dlc. Cerulean Coast is up there with Fountainhead Palace on visual appeal. Place is gorgeous!

Ulti you might need to take a short break to better mentally prepare yourself for this FromSoft dlc. You don't seem to be having a good time.
