So it's gotten to the point where people can't cite movies without it sounding like an LMS post?

LMS also doesn't get that confrontational, because an AI is incapable of understanding emotion or nuance. His posts always sound monotonous without any substance worth responding to. It's very hilarious if you have a dry sense of humor.

I don't think they're cameos, Superman is supposed to be a new player among a world of established superheroes. They're main or secondary characters that appear throughout the movie.

Which I absolutely prefer, I don't need another solo superhero movie. It's boring.

Gamecube only. I miss left handed Link.

Have always hated motion controls, so never tried playing it on Wii. Never even got the HD version. TP was the game that shattered my worldview a bit. I was the most hyped I've ever been and fully expected it to be the greatest game ever. Then was sorely disappointed (naturally), because no game can live up to such lofty expectations, but I was a stupid 16 year old.

Even so, to this day I refuse to get over hyped about anything. The sting of TP forever remains in the back of my head, reminding me to keep my expectations in check. I now just always expect to be disappointed. Which to be fair seems like a safer method. I much prefer having low expectations and being surprised when something exceeds them.

As for TP, I don't hate the game. If Nintendo would stop being so fucking stingy and released the HD version on Switch I would buy it immediately. Yet it remains stuck on the worst console ever made.

There is one more sorta hidden timer, but only after you retrieve the IFF. So just leave that for absolute last -- there is one caveat, you'll be missing out on a teammate but it's the better option for a first playthrough imo. Everything else can be done at your leisure now, no more surprise missions will pop up.

I suggest leaving the DLC for relative last, especially Arrival, but still complete them before retrieving IFF.

Also sniper rifle was an... interesting choice for a Vanguard.

I made a post about it earlier, basically saying time travel makes it difficult to connect with anything that happens since it'll likely all be undone in the end (which it was).

What I liked most about the season is also what disappointed me greatly, which is Kang. Since this is the last we'll see of him, and it's just an immense shame that Jonathan Majors couldn't keep his act together. Unfortunately he's still a fantastic actor and it would've been so fun to see him play all these different versions of Kang. But oh well, consequences and such.

I'm predicting that if I ever get around to rewatching the series, there's a high chance I'll enjoy it more. Although that probably won't be for years.

Also more creative settings/costumes woulda been nice. Instead of drab suits and office buildings (nitpicking yes).

That's why it doesn't mesh, two violent assholes don't usually make for a healthy relationship. Renegade Shepard feeds into her worst attributes and the romance explodes. Paragon saves her from herself and she begins to heal.

In fact, I'm not sure it's even possible to have a committed relationship with her if you choose the Renegade options in her conversations.

She mellows out if you romance her. Something I never did before my recent playthrough (encouraged by this topic), as I could never bring myself to abandon Tali. But I felt like switching it up this time. Plus I used to be Renegade for Life which doesn't mesh well with Jack. Now that I'm older and have less tolerance for asshole behavior I'm fully Paragon, except for certain Renegade triggers that are too good to pass up.

Jack is off-putting at first, naturally, but I now recognize her depth. Fantastic character imo.

Yeah it's Marvel Suicide Squad without any of the teeth of Suicide Squad and built like a discount Avengers or Guardians dialogue. Even something based on Secret Avengers would be more interesting than this. This is just punch and shoot men quipping like interchangeable Avengers characters and bickering like Guardians characters.

Unfortunately we can't expect much more from Disney. They love riding a formula into the ground.

I'll still probably enjoy Thunderbolts* for what it is. But I do agree it would have been a lot better if it was an actual group of villains and not just... a bunch of generic powered individuals. Granted they don't really have many good villains to pull from.

Still I wouldn't have minded them using some multiverse shenanigans to bring back characters like Killmonger. He would be perfect for a team like this.

Damnnn new Spider-Man show has beautiful animation (at least from what I could tell from the 5 seconds it showed).

On another note, I finally sat through Loki S2, and uh... Kinda feels like I coulda left it on the unwatched list. I experienced utterly no emotion from any of it, but that's probably due to an inherent drawback with time travel plots. You can't get invested in anything or react to any bad outcomes since you know it'll likely all be undone by the end. Which is what happened!

Only thing that kept me going was knowing this might be Hiddleston's last appearance in the MCU. Hopefully he'll return for Avengers or something, though I could also see them going the kid Loki route next.

Yeah the weapon "stats" don't really exist in the sequels. It's more about how the guns themselves perform. Locust has the best accuracy/stability of any SMG in the second game. Weapon choices get more varied in the third game.

As for shotguns, you can immediately get a great one from Omega. Geth Plasma Shotgun. You can also research the Eviscerator after getting the professor, also from Omega. Those are the two best for the early game.

Later you can choose to grab the Claymore which fulfills the true potential of the Vanguard. It does only have a one shot clip though, so it takes some practice getting used to. Plus if you aren't playing on Hardcore or Insanity it might not be as advantageous.

Both are so similar that it's hard to say one is better than the other. I enjoyed BotW more overall, since it was fresh and gave me a completely unique experience for every one of my playthroughs. The sequel just piggybacked on that success and made a lot of uninspired choices.

I played TotK for 80 hours after launch, then had to take a long break to wait for the disappointment to wear off. Played another 100+ hours and enjoyed most of my time with it a great deal. However it did aggravate me in a lot of ways, most of which have already been pointed out in this topic.

Mainly I just don't like the trend of open world sequels thinking "more map, more collectibles, more pointless sidequest/activities!" is a worthwhile approach.
