Trump won his first term with a Republican House and Senate. They couldnt accomplish anything meaningful in that time beyond a shitty tax cut. Now hes going in with an even shittier GOP that took like two months just to select a Speaker of the House.

Well probably get some tariffs that make shit cost a lot more and then a bunch of standard GOP in-fighting leading into 2026 and then we can hopefully get Congress back under Democrat control. Neuter him (or Vance if hes croaked by then) for the last half of the term and spend that time building up a handful of solid candidates for the Dem primary.

Can't remember the timing other than the last one that got rammed through before the election).

Everyone seems to forget that Republicans are simply incapable of governing. They can work together to win elections much better than Democrats can, but once they're in they just fucking suck at getting anything accomplished.

So based on all of that, I'm a little less worried but obviously still pissed the fuck off that we have to do this again

Centre County Working with Ballot Scanner Vendor to Export Election Results

(Bellefonte, PA)Centre County Elections Office is working continuously to provide mail-in ballot data in order to post unofficial results. To this point, all ballots have been scanned, including all mail-in ballots. Centre Countys Election team and IT team have identified that the data are successfully being exported from the mail-in ballot scanners, but that the data is not being recognized when uploaded to the elections software. Centre Countys Administrator, John Franek, Jr. stated, We have not stopped working, and we will continue to work until unofficial results are posted and reported to the Pennsylvania Department of State. As a next step, Centre County has begun working with the equipment vendor to adjust configurations to make the two systemsthe mail-in ballot scanner and the elections software where data are uploadedcompatible with one another. We will provide updates as we make progress.
