Not really. Up until now the anti-trans trolls defending her have been able to ask to see which transphobic comments Rowling has made, giving them the facade of respectability by pretending that they just haven't seen her objectionable comments. Now though there's just so much out there that they've given up the facade and admit what they believed all along which is that 'transphobic' doesn't exist as a concept and thus Rowling can't have said anything transphobic.

It's a new phase of the hate spiral. Now they can't pretend to be the respectable ones any more. Further increased radicalization and explicit calls for anti-trans discrimination are where we go from here.

Since it's a members-only club I imagine they plan on taking a similar approach to Ovarit (read: TERF Reddit) where they start with a small group of known TERFs and the only others who are allowed to join are those invited by existing members.

I used to say yes and I still kinda do but conservative media has become so intellectually vapid that there's not much to listen to any more. It's all bumper sticker-tier culture war talking points that you've heard a thousand times before.

Cool story actually. My mum wasn't very racist (she died seven years ago now) but my dad totally is. In fact one day he was waiting at the doctor's office and a saw a Muslim woman "go straight in". This made him so mad about "immigrants getting everything" that he walked out and took the money my mum had given him to buy his prescription to go drinking instead.

This ended up being the triggering event that caused my mum to finally throw him out and file for divorce after nearly 25 years of marriage.

I'd recommend TNG as the better binge. It gets better as it goes on and while the final season sags a bit it ultimately stops at the right time with an excellent finale.
