Not really, that list only includes things that meet the UN definition of genocide and excludes other mass killings that have potentially higher body counts. Germany was terrible, but they may not even have the highest body count in WW2.

You would have to be killing enemies at a ludicrous rate too, just for it not to take forever.

I did a quick test run in Vampire Survivors, just because it was a game I had installed that had a fairly high kill count. Over a three hour run I managed to kill 1,733,361 enemies, for an average of around 578k an hour. That means it would take around 72 straight days to reach a billion kills.

Cost?
Eh, it was 14 years ago so I'm not 100% sure but I think it was around $25k. That included having photos taken in the Magic Kingdom before the park opened and a dessert party in EPCOT to watch the fireworks, on top of the actual ceremony and reception along with some other stuff. Based on how prices for everything else have gone up at Disney since then I'm sure it is VASTLY more expensive now.

As far as I know, the United States is the only nation to actually attack with nuclear weapons despite many other countries having them. The chances that Japan would actually use these nuclear weapons is slim, but at least they'd have a defense.
Whatever country had the bomb first in WW2 would have used it, it was too much of a tactical advantage not to.

Eh, that is only partially true. While it would be hard for any president to do something positive at the moment, given the state of the House and Senate, a President can still do a lot of negative things via Executive Order and on the foreign policy front.

I'll be surprised if starfield doesn't come out on every console here on for at least the next two generations.
I don't know. There is a cost to porting and supporting a game to new hardware. They did it for Skyrim because it was ludicrously popular and people were willing to re-buy the game multiple times, but Starfield may not make financial sense to put the effort to support it.

never had gamepass. If you unsubscribe from gamepass you lose all your games? So does this starfield thing kinda make you lean more into thinking that cod won't be taken off of PS, if you ever thought that.
I honestly have no idea what to expect. There are a lot of analysts that think there won't even be another generation of Xbox. My best guess is they will keep anything they promised support for as multiplatform for some length of time, just because they would never get another large merger approved in the EU if they backtracked on it.

Not particularly. At this point it is obviously not going to be a system moving exclusive sot they are likely happy for any sales they can get. I've got Gamepass so I've already got access to the game as it is. I actually put a bunch of time in when it first came out, then I got sick and stopped playing for a bit and never went back.

I have to see what was actually fixed in the new patch to see if I want to go back.

I'm extremely reluctant to do any sort of calls like this because I already assume they're eyerolling at how dumb on the phone I am to begin with (I know they're generally not if you're being respectful, but you know, the brain works that way); if I found out I was being recorded purely for entertainment 'mortified' would be an absolute understatement

Especially if they're splicing it to make themselves look superior

I know the feeling. I've actually worked in call centers twice and spent the last ten or so years running meetings by phone and yet I still hate having to call a business for something. Just weird brain stuff.

I assume they aren't including the customer side of the call, that would go from something that could get you fired to something that could get you in legal trouble.

I just saw this one:

https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZPR3jrb2k/

This should be a 100% private conversation. I don't care if there's no SPI or PII in the video. An examination under oath (not examination of oath as this woman keeps saying) is a serious legal proceeding where you testify under penalty of perjury and is completed by a licensed attorney. You are also allowed to have your own representation. If someone is under SIU investigation and need to sit for an EUO that is extremely stressful. This type of conversation should never be broadcast out to the general public. It's an extremely private matter.
Yeah, that is not cool and should be a fire-able offense at any company. Every year the company I used to work for had employees go through security and privacy training, with a whole section dedicated to social media specifically for stuff like this.

For me the biggest complaint I usually have is keeping the yard mowed and weeded on a regular basis. It's a fairly big yard and I have mild grass allergies, so it's unpleasant every time. But it's worse if I procrastinate doing it and then have to really hack through it later.

Though it can also be annoying when you think you've got everything under control for once and then suddenly you get a bad storm and the roof springs a leak or the basement floods. Especially if you've got other stuff going on and are too busy to really want to deal with it, but you have to anyway because ignoring stuff like that only makes everything worse.
I got to a point where I just pay some guy in the neighborhood to cut my grass. My yard isn't huge, but it is an old property with older trees, so the ground tends to be rougher than yards in more modern houses.

So far I've had to replace a roof, the windows and the furnace/AC unit. Only 'major' thing left is the siding at this point. (knock on copious wood)

If the inspector the next person hires notices it, they might force you to pay for it, or force you to take it out of the price of the house.

I pretty much required the sellers to fix any "issues" that the house was going to have for at least the first 5 years I owned it.
Depending on where you live you may be required by law to disclose any issues you are aware, specifically for reasons like this.

Structural integrity questions and acrophobia aside, how inconvenient is it to actually live there? Are you totally underwater during hurricane season? How far is the nearest grocery store?
Considering that is a four story house, it is probably at least 100 feet above sea level so I doubt you'd have to worry about being underwater. It is also on the southern coast of Australia, which doesn't seem to be a major target of hurricanes. No clue how remote the location is though.
