To be fair, he strikes me as the sort who would be annoyed if someone was smoking a cigerrete right next to him too. I mean, he is a nice guy and may refrain from commenting negatively about it, but it would probably really annoy him.

How does the magic change apply to what happens when civilization collapses? Would gun violence after government ceases to function cease being "mass shootings" or would people just continue to use knives for violence regardless of it being more survival than statement.

DC is better overall for a "casual" follower. You can just pick a Batman and/or Superman cartoon and for the most part you don't need to worry about getting dragged into a dozen different team-ups until they go and switch to a dedicated Justice League incarnation. There are some exceptions like Brave and the Bold, but even that one was basically a "team up of the week" series a lot of the time.

The closest Marvel has to this sort of "casual follower/reader" hero is Spiderman. But even he usually starts getting caught up in SHIELD things pretty quickly. To say nothing of his later stage stories where its a multiverse with however many spider versions they want to have.

Fantastic 4 is also usually more decent at remaining self-contained too, I suppose Plus they have the iconic Doom (as an enemy) so they are a pretty good team-from-the-get-go too.

The actual logical argument against it is simply because it can result in a child, and children born from nuclear siblings are more likely to have negative effects from inbreeding.

The concerns of a gay couple having children made from themselves is not an issue since the biology for that requires opposites and not alikes. And even if a gay couple were to undergo some kind of procedure or stem cell shenanigans to allow them to have their own kid, the worry of inbreeding defects would not be a problem for their kid.

Actually reasonable, since the scenario in question is likely the collapse of civilization, which means we will mostly starve or dehydrate as all our logistics just stops and some people will just live a bit longer by raiding the countryside for anything that has grown, and likely setting fire to whatever isn't edible.

Very few people will survive. And being in a rural area won't save you either. Being in a billion dollar Hawaiian bunker won't either.

It really is, I admit.

I was kinda hoping for a refute, but aside from one post posting a bunch of kanye stuff (which is just him being a normal rapper but sometimes having a backup singer basically being an instrument) this topic has strangely turned into metal vs rap a lot of the time.

Also, no evidence of rap including actual singing. Since, yeah, that is kinda what rap literally is. May be your thing, and that is fine.

But is is not "music" to me. You can use the technicality to call it a "song" though, since it has vocals and all that, including actual instruments to support it. But yeah, I would prefer my singers to be in tune. But not autotune.

I wonder if it would be possible for frogs to evolve to specifically have a type of harmless fungus grow on their backs to protect them from other fungi (like the ones that tend to kill them).

I am more offended by that absolute joke of a "fighting" stance.
