I wasn't an only if you needed me. I just warned I wouldn't have massive activity. This is how things will be almost always now due to the massive amount of sports my son is in. But, if someone wants to play really bad then I understand.

Less than 4 scum in 15 is a bit interesting.

If there is 4 scum they can just keep pairing with themselves in rotating order. I think im confused.

I had a game 100% solved this last year, in the final 3.

With all broken logic though that no one could follow to come to the same conclusion. That's the problem. Even if you have it all right, if you don't have a logical way it all makes sense you actually just backdoor lend shade to the correct solution.

Doesn't matter. Town had overrides. A mayor and a shot. Both could have been wrong. And if so, town deserved to lose.

Being called TRASH multiple times for essentially backing up the words of a confirmed dead town. Not only a confirmed dead town, but one who seemingly wasn't targeted for having a power so logically was targeted for the things he was saying.

I feel like there's a line between "honestly, you're wrong and I'm seriously town" and "you are trash/bad/awful/real men of genius" kinds of toxicity.

I mean saying you are trash at the game literally means bad at the game which means not usually correct.

I think people are so quick to jump to outrage when people are talking to someone in a game situation. If I score my 42nd point on someone in madden and cheer and go god damn bro you are trash at this game. I don't expect my buddy to be like that's it I can't take this toxicity anymore!!! I'd expect trash talk back or a funny quip.

I truly did have a terribly awful IRL Thursday/Friday the week before, but maaaan, totally called the "no way Ulti+Wallz is town town," the "Corrik is laying low please kill him" and also the "why does Wallz get weird roles every game."

I would like to see a day 3 one game this year :')

I was inactive cuz of life. I wasn't laying low.

Scum at least loses their extra kill with me eating a mislynch first with it. *shrug*

Exactly. On the off chance he's town this is his opportunity to provide info and provide his own thoughts and insights before his demise. But regardless of being lynched today is his final day and he is NOT making it count so far.

I suppose I'll re read Kirby a bit as well and see what I can turn up.

I am town but I haven't read most of the game. I tried at times but am simply too busy. I haven't read the tail end of day 1 yet and large parts of day 2. I barely had enough time yesterday to read enough to see who I had to self preserve vote against.

The only reads I can give you are

Ben is town.
Fd is town.
Jc is town.
If wallz is town and not lying then ulti has to 98% be town also. (Unless a nonmoving scum night 1 on a scum team minus a player already which is unlikely).

Jcs reaction day 1 regarding claims and such were pure town.

Ben was absolutely correct about fd and lopens town reactions to the naming and vanilla stuff. He wouldn't have pointed that out if scum.

If mzero is going to stick to this claim then whatever. Nothing I can do. I'm not scum. This is a mislynch but I don't have the time to play anyways. Just eat it. Idk what the numbers are to figure out if this is somehow worth it to scum to 1 for 1. I doubt it especially without a counter claim here. But, I'm not scum and he says I am so what can I do.

Sorry I let yinz down this game. Probably shouldn't have signed up I guess.

I'm busy at my kids tournament of champions so probably not responding much, but I am not scum. I am poisoned so not the worst mislynch either. Do what yinz gotta do. I won't be around but when mzero reveals he was just gambiting, look at the people who tried jumping on my mislynch right away. Pretty revealing.

These questions are a bit silly but Ill answer. I didnt know his alignment at any point and Im still unsure. I hoped to have a definitive answer to at least one of does ulti have to move involuntarily every night or is ulti capable of moving at all.

The order went neighbor chat, Ulti is released from being kidnapped (by me acknowledging to host I was done and would not use the chat anymore) and then host responded by telling me whether ulti didnt move. I wouldnt say I needed him to do anything, it was just a nice bit of info to have for the reason i already explained.

Didn't you follow him? Why did you need him to commit?

Also of note, ctes said inactive were town yesterday which is dumb. I believe me and Kirby were the inactives. Just a note.

The problem to me is kidnapper generally removes someone from the night completely. He is saying it was a neighborizer and follower but isn't it just more likely it was a kidnap and thus ulti was unable to move or be targeted. Hence ulti didn't move? My question to ulti would have been if he tried to move but he says he is vanilla now. My next question would have been if wallz knew he couldn't move supposedly anymore before coming here to claim.

The reason this concerns me is because if it's actually a normal kidnap then it doesn't confirm ulti couldn't have gone somewhere if he wanted to like him saying he tracked him nowhere suggests. If he tracked him nowhere, ulti looks to be town. Unlikely he didn't move night 1 if scum.

But if he is lying about details then that is no longer in ultis favor and my question becomes why lie about this detail.

Thought he said his role was a Miller cuz his flavor said he was a mob boss of mafia boss or something.

I think what we're overlooking is that Wallz' renamed flavor doesn't really seem to fit what we've seen so far. They've all been rather generally descriptive of the character and not particularly related to the role. Unsuccessful businessman is confirmed. Average Joes, Naive Neighbor and Old Man are claimed. Those 4 are all attached to vanilla sure, but the thing linking them is that they really just generally address the character itself and don't tie into the vanilla-ness.

And then we have "Kidnapper" for Fat Tony? With a role that just happens to closely match what a Scum Kidnapper might do?

I could see scum day 1 thinking "we know the flavor split is Simpsons vs the rest, but we could get someone to claim a flavor they believe is miller-ish because it's a literal mafia member" and then tying themselves to that Fat Tony role (despite actually being a Simpson). And then they learn that town roles are all renamed, but what luck! Fat Tony is an actual criminal so you can just say 'sure he probably kidnaps people, we'll say the renamed role is kidnapper!'.

But wouldn't a more fitting rename for Fat Tony have just been "Mob Boss" or "Mafiaso"? Or something that fits the trend of generally describing the character? It would be our first instance of the renamed role actually describing the role and I for one am not sold.

This goes against the good credit I wanted to give wallz for participating in the Ctes lynch, but what he is claiming is functionally out of sync with what we currently know about renamed roles and is a conceivably logical attempt to have been made by a scum team that was aware of the flavor split but not aware of the renamed roles.

It's not nearly as complicated as it was when I made that breakdown for the flurry of views in the other game. I can put something together tomorrow, but ultimately it was pretty solidly corrik with You in second before those 4 votes summoned the ctes special.

Ctes cast a self preservation vote and then red cast a Corrik vote that would have saved Ctes if Lea didn't swap.

This honestly makes me feel better about red, oddly. I don't see him sticking his neck out so directly to save a scummate.

I thought I saw a lot of swaps from me to ctes at the end.

Who wants to do a breakdown of vote changes at the end with the vote at the time and time remaining as votes were made.

Legitimately think most of town is pretty locked up here.

Can't believe yinz almost lynched me. Good job tho I suppose. Most the game has to be virtually locked up as town at this point. I'll be able to read day 1 I haven't yet tomorrow at work. Likely not gonna be able to do much after that. Oh well.

Alright, I've been keeping up with the day and most people did a good job pointing out the obvious. JC is town. Sbell is town. Toss them aside. If you don't agree I will elaborate but I think we already all agree on those two.

One thing that stood out the most poignant to me was in the very recent Death claim. Whether or not Death is scum or town doesn't change the reactions to him claiming.

FD catches onto something, as if what Death is claiming does not match his PM.

Death elaborates.

Shortly after Death elaborates, Lopen is very into believing the claim.

FD also really likes something Death said. You can sense a mental shift from both.

This reads like a serious case of "Your PM described matches my own!" from both Lopen and FD. As in, a genuine feeling that they can confidently see Death as town based on some details he got right. I'm not thinking this makes Death town, he could have had an example role PM. But I REALLY like the reaction/perspective of Lopen and FD and what they are using to read Death. Its a reaction very unlikely to come from scum over information so minor.

Also, Death and Lea are never scum together with the whole Lenny situation.
