I could potentially see Venom Snake taking pity on the poor, decrepit, 31-year-old. Maybe he and Kaz would let him run Moleman in the Morning out of Mother Base's radio station, so that the Diamond Dogs' morale could get a regular boost by being reminded of how much worse off they could be.

Of course, naturally, he'd then fall prey to the vocal cord parasite outbreak, and would then have his remains unceremoniously dumped into the sea instead of being remade into diamonds like the other Diamond Dogs that got infected and had to be killed.

...I think he would've been about the same. Except Covid. I think he would've been worse with that, due to how he reacted to his own health problems. No chemo, no surgery, nothing. Ignored it for nine months. He tried to fight it with health food and juice cleanses.

I mean, that route would likely still be better than the bleach injections that Donnie recommended, or the antiparasitic drugs in horse-sized dosages that his cult swore by (and which then gave them rope worms), if only because the bleach and ivermectin "cures" for COVID were just absolutely, self-destructively stupid, while health food and juice cleanses were a more normal level of stupid.

I'm not even sure free is a good enough price, given the circumstances. Maybe if she spontaneously lost a decent-sized chunk of her net worth in response to someone getting the game for free, I might consider picking it up that way.

Given everything I've heard about the game specifically as well as that of Rowling herself, I'm not even sure it's worth pirating.

It would be interesting, but it never would have happened outside of What If?. Marvel wants Earth-616 to forever be just like the real world but with added superheroes, even as that notion gets less and less plausible with every comic book published when you take into account all the super-geniuses casually making hyper-advanced AIs or spacecraft that can cross the Milky Way in nanoseconds, or all the various alien invasions or reality-warping calamities that hit New York every Thursday or so.

That's only Earth-65 (home of Spider-Gwen)'s Trump. The Donald Trump of Earth-616 (not to be confused with Earth-199999, no matter what MCU-Mysterio and Multiverse of Madness tell you) ended up basically the same as the Donald Trump of our universe, Earth-1218 (albeit with some added interactions with Marvel characters, such as Tony Stark having once bought an entire floor of Trump Tower from Donnie, Loki running against both him and Hillary before suddenly dropping out of the race near the end, Luke Cage lifting his limo out of the path of an ambulance and then successfully getting him to shut the hell up and get back in the car when he tried to threaten the superhero with a lawsuit, and pardoning Hydra-Cap).

They do. And I get that Bethesda wanted to make it equally valid to choose either one, but the bad kind of outweighs the good with either one, so I end up wanting to fight for neither.

But at the same time, letting the war drag on as long as possible (by not tipping the scales in either the Empire's or the Stormcloaks' favor) ultimately achieves the Thalmor's goal of wasting the Empire's time and resources on fighting the Stormcloaks while they themselves are rebuilding their forces and preparing to invade mainland Tamriel again. Yeah, the only reason I know this site exists is due to niche fetish stuff, so I can't imagine this to be a sound business decision.

My guess is that credit card companies and/or banks pressured the site's owners to do it, not giving a fuck if the site lives or dies as long as they themselves don't get associated with porn (which could potentially make them lose favor with the religious fundamentalists in the Republican Party, which could then cause them to lose out on tax breaks and/or favorable legislation).

At this point, the rest of the EU and NATO should go in and force a regime change.

You don't have the evidence to impeach Joe Biden, and never have, and we've been pointing that out for years now.

Technically speaking, they absolutely could impeach Biden without any evidence, for the same reason they could do so just on the grounds of not liking his haircut, if they really wanted to. The problem for them is that if they were to do something that stupid and nakedly partisan, that could convince a lot of swing voters that the GOP might not be able to be trusted with power, and either vote for Democrats or (more likely) stay home instead of voting for Trump like they otherwise might.

The Hunter Biden nonsense lent the impeachment movement some very undeserved legitimacy, especially with the corpo-rat media and voters who somehow still can't decide if they want the guy who stupidly got millions of their fellow Americans killed in his last term to have another shot. Now that it's plainly shown to be just a partisan witch hunt that the GOP started, they realize they can't make it work anymore, even among their bought-and-paid-for propaganda outlets.

Yep. Which is one of many reasons why I don't buy the chuds' claims of "censorship" just because, for example, Rogue isn't being constantly sexualized (never mind that they only really show one screenshot of her from the old cartoon as "proof" of their "censorship" claim for X-Men '97): newer shows face considerably less censorship than the ones we grew up on back in the day.

Yep. One of the only times he was allowed to throw a punch on that show, Spidey was fighting the Spot, and naturally, the fist went through one of Spot's dimensional holes and came out of another, resulting in poor Peter punching himself.

The network also demanded that Spidey not disturb any pigeons whenever he landed on rooftops. This was deliberately referenced in the later cartoon, The Spectacular Spider-Man, in which Peter repeatedly startled pigeons by swinging by, got thrown at pigeon cages, etc.

Two, counting One Winged Angel. That one was less casual and more of a compilation, but still.

And of course, for about as far from "casual" as you can get, he had to hastily come up with the Prelude/Crystal theme from FF1 in order to hit a deadline, as the main menu didn't have any music very late in the game's development. Uematsu ended up composing it in the span of about 10 minutes, and he sure didn't expect that simple little arpeggio to become as popular as it did.

I heartily recommend Mark of the Ninja. Even if you're not specifically into ninja, it perfected 2D stealth.
