I personally wouldn't shower with my children and don't recommend it either. That said, this is actually quite normal in some cultures/families for parent and child to shower together and think nothing of it until a certain age.

Drake has issued a plea to the media in the wake of what has been a controversial fortnight for the rapper.

On Tuesday (7 May), a security guard was shot in the chest, with officers finding him unconscious when they arrived at the scene.

The guard is believed to have been standing outside the gates in front of the property when he was shot at around 2am. He was later transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.
One suspect fled the scene in a vehicle, police said. Officials could not confirm whether Drake was home at the time of the shooting, but said that the rappers team is cooperating with the investigation.
Days later, an intruder tried to break into Drakes mansion, with another spotted outside the residence hours later. The second intruder had an altercation with security guards and was taken to hospital with injuries that were serious, but not life-threatening.
On Saturday (11 May), Toronto Police Service told TMZ a third intruder was escorted off the rappers property.
Drake has now referenced the frenzied interest in his residence on Instagram via a post addressed to Canadian news organisation CP24.

I bought my first home recently in California because of a first time buyer program, and I would not have been able to if it werent for that program. And surprise, there was a lot of people against that too. People have talked s*** to me.. to my face, because I was able to buy a home with the program.

what kind of program was it?

the other bad thing is that this is a 2 year cushion that will result in many foreclosures when these people no longer get the $400 and realize they cannot afford the payment at this super high interest rate

but they will be rushed to buy because if they wait 2 years for the rate to drop they won't get the free money

Former President Trump said Friday he would roll back transgender student protections enacted last month by the Biden administration on day one of his presidency if he is reelected in November.

The Education Department in April unveiled a final set of sweeping changes to Title IX, the federal civil rights law preventing sex discrimination in schools and education programs that receive government funding. The new regulations, which are slated to take effect Aug. 1, cover discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity for the first time.

For students attending schools and other educational institutions that receive Federal financial assistance, this guarantee is codified, in part, in Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, Biden wrote in the executive order, which formally charged the Education Department with overhauling Title IX regulations instituted under Trump.

Tell your people not to worry about it, Trump told hosts Nick Kayal and Dawn Stensland on Friday, referring to the new Title IX rule. Itll be signed on day one. Itll be terminated.

Trump has also promised to enact at least a dozen policies targeting transgender rights as president, including a nationwide ban on transgender student-athletes competing in accordance with their gender identity and a federal law that recognizes only two genders. Republican governors, attorneys general and education officials have vowed to reject the laws expanded protections for transgender students, and school districts in their state have been instructed to ignore them. Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders (R) this month ordered the state to defy the new regulations and said she would take legal action against the Biden administration for any financial loss, including loss of funding.

Lawsuits filed by more than a dozen Republican-led states this month allege the administrations rule undermines federal nondiscrimination protections for students who are not transgender and incorrectly applies the reasoning of a 2020 Supreme Court ruling that protects employees from discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity to Title IX.
The lawsuits, a majority of which were filed in conservative jurisdictions, are expected to succeed in at least temporarily blocking the new Title IX regulations from taking effect this summer.
The Biden administration has yet to finalize a separate rule governing athletics eligibility. This is clearly a bandaid, thats obvious. But when youre working with people who wont allow anything but a bandaid, and a lot of times, not even that, you take what you can get. Blaming Biden for doing something to try to help is backwards. Many first time buyers are going to benefit from this, as have many first time buyers benefited from many first time buyer support. Does it solve all the problems? No. Does it help people in need? Yes.

The other issue is whining about free money ruining the economy is a lot more effective than we give it credit for. I disagree and think that line of thinking is stupid but every day I meet another person in real life who buys it.

Think about it like this. Why do houses go up? Because there is people buying. You give a bunch of buyers money to go buy a house, what happens? They go up. Then you have negated the check you gave them.

The solution is regulations and increasing supply by well, undoing regulations like certain nimby zoning restrictions. Also preventing corporate buyouts of homes and programs that monopolize the rent as we know exists.
