...Alright I want answers and I want them now. WHO stole the Luchador Potter costume?
<_<
It was definitely not me. Just because I knew where a spare LP mask was thanks to my job as EVPTR. Or because he showed up shortly after I finished trying to get permission to change my vote and left before I came back to verify Rad Link's signature. Or because it would be really fun and CHAOTIC to run down to the ring in my underwear and a Luchadore mask, and then pretend to be your alt while beating you up. Or because it would give me a something to laugh about when XIII tried to ignore what was happening right in front of him.
Nope, there is definitely no way it was me.
>_>
Well now I dont know WHAT to believe!

It's a tough card because the only "break" matches are the X-Division Qualifiers, but since they're qualifying for a match later in the card you can't just toss them in like normal break matches.
It also seems kind of challenging to book the winner of the Last Chance 4-way into the Ultimate X itself, because that would put him in THREE matches in one night. It will depend what the 4-way and the winner's qualifier are like, they could be quick and not at all demanding. But I would not normally want to see someone who had already wrestled TWICE that night get put into a match as potentially dangerous as an Ultimate X, especially considering everyone else in it has already wrestled once themselves.
I hadnt considered that. Maybe they SHOULDNT put Zema Ion in this match...

Last Chance 4-way Angle/Joe 2 X-Division Qualifiers Daniels/Styles 2 X-Division Qualifiers Ultimate X Aries/Roode
The downside is it doesnt feel "fair" to have the guy who wins the final qualifier immediately fight again. But if you make it a likable face, like I guess Kenny King or the winner of the Last Chance 4way it can work.

What's important is that they're making this MATCH important. Even if (when) Roode retains, it'll feel like he really accomplished something awesome. And Aries will no doubt look great in defeat.
It's not just a reign-buffer like that mini-feud with RVD
This is the really important part. In this era of one month feuds, Roode/Aries is actually making it work and feel huge.

Thatd be a pretty insane match. The reason I was thinking Rubix was because if someone wins that opener and then wins the other qualifier thats a pretty substantial underdog push for the Ultimate X match.
But the smart money is your way.

And yeah, it's like War said -- doing it this way makes Kenny King look like a star because he dominates the discussion.
Really we only mark for Rubix because we're CHIKARA marks. TNA is intending for this tournament to be all about Kenny King and Rashad Cameron.
Itd be pretty funny if after all of this Williams or Ion walks out of Destination X as champion.
It really is kind of strange that they've spent ZERO time even establishing the 3 guys already on the roster who got automatic spots in the tournament as threats.
Well one of them, maybe Ion to go along with his "guy who injures people" gimmick, is going to MURDER that guy whos name i cant remember that beat Darsow, which should do the trick.
King/Cameron/TNA Guy/ ????
I dont know about who the 4th guy in the match will be. It'd need to be a face though. .... maybe it IS Rubix!

I wonder if any eagle eyed casual viewers noticed that Rashad Cameron showed up on Smackdown a week earlier with a different name and got squashed by Ryback.
I did not, in fact notice that.

I do feel its worth notingthat women's sexual preferences don't really reflect how they want to be treated socially.
Women view themselves as complex and like most people want thesweet caring husband who can then turn around treat her like a ragdoll behind closed doors, while shes making bank at her own career she loves as asmart and independent woman.
Which hey if i were born with lady parts id probably feel that way too.

Mobile Suit Gundam 0080 War in the Pocket is what i should watch next huh?
Oh and did I mention Lala looks stoned.
The original, 0080 and 08th MS team and IGLOO all occur simultaneously. the only reason its called 0080 is to match the naming scheme for 0083 and to differentiate from the original.
Actually IGLOO may take place before all of those other shows but only by a few months.

I know the sample size is very small, but I feel like this is the 3rd biggest "Champion of one company shows up on another show without permission" ever, after Madusa and Mike Awesome.
Still ahead of Haku!
uhhh...Ric Flair?
Or did he have permission to steal the NWA Title <_<?

There's a gigantic difference between Smash and BlazBlue, bringing up that comparison is just plain stupid.
I mean more than just the fact that Smash isn't a niche animu-styled Aksys game. Smash's gameplay too is entirely different from fighting games. It's true that fighting games have a gigantic learning curve and it keeps newcomers from playing them much because they have no idea how to play them at all. But Smash Bros doesn't have that problem because Smash doesn't play like other fighters, it's a much simpler game to pick up and start playing, and even if you can't play on a competitive level, as a newb you still know how to control the damn thing on a basic level, and the same can not be said for other fighters.
Adding in stupid s*** like tripping doesn't make the learning curve any better - people still learn the gameplay mechanics just they same, it's just that they toss in a random nuisance in. Either way, Smash's learning curve was already perfect, that's why the franchise was already popular before Brawl. There is no need to cripple it even more.
fwiw I dont think id have much better luck with SSFIV or even MvC3.

No one plays melee at all anymore. Because who still has a gamecube? its not old enough to get nostalgic over like the N64 and its not new. I mean maybe some smash nerds but that beats the point.
I admit though Brawl pretty much fallen out my repertoire about as hard as (insert guitar game here) has but I do know its near impossible to get a casual to play a traditional fighting game more than one or two rounds.

Brawl is wildly more popular than Blazblue and SSFIV and its not just because the characters are more popular.
brawl was more popular, it's declined at a very fast pace and is, as viviff said, already being outdrawn by it's own predecessor in many places
Im not talking the competitive scene. I mean go out onto the floor of your college dorm and ask people to play brawl. Then another day ask them to play Blazblue. Its a big difference.

Cater to high-skill players: High-skill players are happy Low-skill players don't care because they are low-skill
Cater to low-skill players: High-skill players aren't happy Low-skill players don't care because they are low-skill
There's nothing wrong with being a casual player, it's just that developers shouldn't hinder high-level gameplay for them, because they simply don't care about the in-depth mechanics.
Except this isnt true.
Brawl is wildly more popular than Blazblue and SSFIV and its not just because the characters are more popular. Casuals find it more fun than games that have such a high learning curve.

Also I am not a fanboy of FFXIIs but come on it and XIII totally had definite plot closure. I mean sure in XIII the ending is bit unexplained mechanically, but thats what the games encyclopedia entries are for <_<.
