I'm a vegan. I eat lots of fruit, veggies, tofu, and other plant-based food. However, I am not a plant. I am confident that I am human.

The same logic applies to meat eaters. Meat eaters, I am confident that you are not a cow or chicken. "You are what you eat" doesn't make sense for you either.

Cannibals are what they eat. They eat humans and are humans themselves. The saying actually makes sense for them.

I'm sorry but I just don't understand this phrase and why it is so popular.

It's a decent fursuit. Not as extravagant as some people have made at Anthrocon, but it's not a super cheap one either.

You can change the fursuit, but you'll need to buy or make the new one yourself with your own money. You'll get a new fursuit that looks the same as the old one every 5 years for free.

Is there a specific reason for Saturday?

The person offering it is kind enough to make you not need to fursuit on weekdays when you're more likely to work. But people like to do things on Saturdays. You must do everything on Saturdays in a fursuit. Family reunion? You're in a fursuit. Hanging out with friends? I hope they're furries, because you're in a fursuit. You get the idea.

You must wear it starting at midnight.

Are we at the point where some carnivores will literally say that they could eat someone because they are cute? Is this where we've gone in society? I know it's not meant to be taken literally, but the idea of eating someone because they're cute is wrong in many ways. If it's an animal, then it's cruel. If it's a person, it's also cannibalism. Why is cruelty and cannibalism so present in a figure of speech? This is something that should stick with fairy tales like Red Riding Hood and not in typical speech.

I will say this. I feel bad for my 3 year old cousin at my stupid family reunion today. My crazy aunt said that to him, and he took it literally until it was explained to him. Poor kid started to cry saying "I don't wanna be eated [sic]!"

It's a dumb phrase, and as a vegan, I think it's even dumber than most people would, I'd imagine.

My dad's mechanic mentioned this today while looking at why his car isn't starting. Yes, if it isn't one particular thing, then it's probably something else. So what you're saying is that if a car is having a problem, and if it's not the battery, then it is another part of the car? Well, I'm certainly shocked that the problem not being with the battery means that it must be a problem with something else!

So today was the last day at Anthrocon, and I noticed that someone in a pig fursuit was eating a hot dog. I jokingly said, "pigs are herbivores, and you're eating a pig like a cannibal!" He said, in a very serious tone, "I could care less what you think of me."

Well, that's certainly helpful information. You're letting me know that you have the capacity to care less about what I just said? Then that means you do care. Therefore, this statement is about as useful as me saying, "I could talk less." Certainly, I have the capacity to do that, but saying that isn't exactly useful.

And before someone says that he probably meant that he couldn't care less, even that is a stupid statement since he could care less by not saying anything at all.

What does this have to do with anything? The point is, if I have a cake, yes, I would want to eat it too. There should be no debate that eating a cake means that you don't have an uneaten cake anymore.

Anyway, the quote means that you can't have your cake after you've already eaten it.

A year ago, Sess led this board on an inspirational crusade to stop the rampant racism that stained our home. We all vowed to stop being racist, and since that day we have become a shining example of progress and tolerance when it comes to racial attitudes. Sess later led the way to stopping religious discrimination last month, and this board has made great strides in doing that.

There is another area, however, that we are falling behind in. That is the area of atheist discrimination. I have noticed over the past few weeks that atheists are often times the victims of bullying and discrimination by the majority of the board. They are forced to keep their views and beliefs to themselves out of fear of being mocked and ridiculed.

That is not acceptable on our board.

if we put more money into public transportation as a country, we would be less dependent on gas, as public transportation is more efficient per person.

Public transportation is fine. People are just too lazy to use it, so they buy expensive cars and "expensive" gas and cry about it.

What about the poor people in small towns?

There are many benefits to urbanization. Living in a populated area close to work and school will save you a lot of money on gas. If they feel like they are spending too much on gas, they should try to live closer to where they work and drive less.

The only people that should be driving cars are those that can afford it. If you have to consider the price of gas so significantly in your budget that it seriously affects your ability to get actual necessities, then you probably should not be owning a car.

You know what's hipocrisy(sp?). Being against eating meat because you're for animal rights, but still being a furry, which's pretty much zoophilia cause anthroes are not human.

1. Furries, sadly enough, are all fictional characters. People who do it in fursuits are human.
2. Furry characters are sentient, real animals are usually not considered to be so. They are capable of human-like thought and can speak.
3. If I'm an anthro fox, and I want to have sex with another anthro fox, what is the problem? Do you have the same problem with real foxes having sex?

Unless there's oil in panda habitats that I'm using or my car can suddenly run off of tiger blood, my actions of using energy have nothing to do with tigers or pandas. Environmentalists say that it all affects polar bears.
