I'm gonna throw out the minority opinion and say I actually liked Partners in Time. It had some issues, like bosses having way too much HP for their own good most of the time, but I liked it.

They're fun games, but Bowser's Inside Story is the only one of the three I'd put on the same level as the console Mario RPGs.

SPM was pretty good. It just didn't have the same...I dunno...depth as PM and TTYD? I don't really know what it is. Partners are ehhh, but you get Bowser, Luigi, and I guess Peach. The personality is still there and there is still good music and everything. I guess it just felt really "going through the motions". SPM is still good, I'd probably place it on the same level as BIS or something. That's pretty lofty praise considering Bowser's Inside Story might be the best Mario RPG of them all!
