Tidus and Squall aren't really a train. A train indicates people saving something they probably don't really like and for the purposes of voting in tandem with a lot of other people. The people voting are, shocker, just legitimate fans of Tidus and Squall.

Plus a strategic use of wheeling and dealing with other users.

Zidane, Vivi, Dagger, Quina, Beatrix and Freya are all terrific.

Steiner is just a tad behind but still very good. Kuja is decent. Amarant is decent. Eiko is middling but not terrible, really.

Brahne, Zorn and Thorn are all good foils befitting the setting; they wouldn't have worked so well in other installments but they totally clicked here. Garland is alright too. Necron doesn't bug me very much.

One of the series' best Cids for sure. And Tantalus is good, if a tad overrated on Board 8...

The Steiner submarine is still going strong but it seems to be running out of steam. Decent result even if Locke is pretty good.

Chris hasn't been around to trade all his saves for Steiner last couple rounds.

I watched an LP of it recently and I couldn't help but constantly think "hold on a sec, THIS game has so much hate? Dunno."

In retrospect, the only thing bad about that game was the script, and there's a lot I would change about Other M before I tinkered with the storyline (which was okay) or script. My only two major gripes with it are lack of gameplay variety in comparison to something like Twilight Princess or Mario Galaxy, and no new power-ups brought to the series.

It's awful compared to Super Metroid, Prime, and Echoes, and I don't understand how GMUN likes it so much, but it's still a really good game. Better than Mario Sunshine, Brawl, and Majora's Mask anyway (although it's awful compared to Ocarina of Time, The Wind Waker, and Twilight Princess, which are all much better at being story-driven Metroid as far as I'm concerned).

I am not sure why having any sort of bias matters whatsoever when it comes to running a contest as long as you're not deliberately trying to fix results.

And despite how "biased" they may be, I doubt that would happen.
