Literally not buying games because there's no achievements.

If achievements are necessary to motivate you to finish a game there's something very very wrong with either you, or the games.
If I can play a game on another system that has achievements, then why wouldn't I?

Another way that the wii u gamepad is much different than the DS clamshell is how surprising jarring it is to go from one screen to another. When I played project P-100 I was just shocked at how inconvenient it was to try to pay attention to both screens during the indoor segment.

Of course that was one of the lesser problems I had with that game >_>

It's time. If this years E3 is any indication, we need new consoles. The best game of E3 Watch Dogs probably will be coming to the Next Gen consoles (even if they have stated current gen systems as it will come out in 2014).

I haven't really been following E3 this year. How would new systems make things better?

I think what he's saying is that there is no way the game will run on current gen consoles. They demoed it using a "high-end PC"

I don't want the current gen to end, but eventually the market will be saturated and MS/Sony will need to move on. I can't realistically see 2014 end without both of the new consoles being released

Is there more to the game than that? Because I think that's all I saw on the show floor.
They had a few other minigames from Nintendo Land on the show floor, but only the Donkey Kong and Luigi games were any good. The Donkey Kong game was really fun, but it was also an iPhone game. Luigi was cool but very unbalanced (pretty much impossible for the single player to win if the four others know what they are doing).

I do take back what I said earlier about the show floor, though. Nintendo Land wasn't that popular after the first few hours.

The Wii U touch screen is inaccurate. You don't use a stylus, but sometimes (like in NSMB U) you wish you did. I was not very impressed at all with its use.
