Funkasaurus doesnt need a title yet. He can still be entertaining without direction until right around Mania.

I'm already bored of his shtick, honestly. Which is kinda weird considering goofy gimmicks are always my favorite. I can only take 4 minute intro + exit combined with 1 minute matches so often. Especially since he doesn't change his dance or even the way he squashes people.

This is kinda true. Even without the celebs WWE's HoF is kinda dumb. Like I personally don't think guys like Cowboy Bob Orton, a completely uninteresting wrestler who was a borderline jobber for most of his career that just happens to be Randy Orton's father, should really be in there either.

The whole celebrity wing of the hall of fame bugs me. Seems to make the whole hall of fame seem less important. You've got stars like Macho Man Randy Savage who don't get in because Vince doesn't like them and then you've got Drew Carey in there.

But Tyson's one of the least offensive inductees on that front, I suppose.

$18k a year is easy to live off of. I can live off like half that, still have enough to buy frivolous stuff and keep myself well fed/clothed/bathed/etc. Unless you're swimming in debts or leases you should be able to do this without even having a roommate. And it's not like you can't also have a job on top of this.

That being said unless I could use like a lightsaber or some other cheap instakill weapon it's not enough to be worth the risk. I'd even have some reservations about killing the lion on principle, honestly.

Who were your pubstompers of choice?

Evelynn mostly. Still a capable pubstomper too even with the nerf but takes a bit more thinking.

Also used Akali and Pantheon from time to time. Squishy burst that has a use for attack speed/inate attack speed and/or Lich Bane/Sheen/Triforce seems to be the easiest way to pubstomp since you're probably playing against people who one or more of the following apply to: 1. Have bad micro and can't react to being bursted quickly. 2. Don't know how to itemize well against your burst and so the carries will fold in short order. 3. Don't know how to prioritize focus fire. Less bursty carries can work too, particularly if they're more tanky, but yeah, burst is the easiest way I think.

You may ask why the AS synergy and Lich Bane/Sheen/Triforce are good-- it's because you will often need to take buildings basically by yourself too because your team sucks. AS or Lich/Sheen/Triforce combined with your glass cannon build will make you bring turrets down a lot faster than pure glass cannon.

Course all of these champs have been nerfed so I'm not sure who the best pubstomp burst is right now (all of those are still doable though). Probably Poppy or Orianna? Maybe Shaco or Malz or Annie with their pets to help with buildings.

Heimerdinger is also decent for this as people will more often underestimate your turrets/not focus you quickly and give you basically free kills as your turrets open them up. That and your turrets can dominate buildings.

Speaking as someone who dug themselves out of low ELO before, yes staying low ELO is your fault. Though it has less to do with your skills (though this can still be a factor if you're just not good enough to carry a team of bads yet) and more to do with how you need to play at that level to reliably win despite having a bunch of bads randomly distributed between both teams.

That way you need to play being picking a pubstomper and stomping until you get out-- ignore teamcomp, just kill.

If you still lose when you pick a pubstomper, get better with it. Even if it's a 4v5-- get better with it.

For the price of a game you can make like 2 or 3 cheap magic decks that are still effective and fun to play, or if you're going super minimalist more like 5 or 6. And you can get a lot of entertainment out of those decks.

Honestly though unless you hardly buy any games at all mtg is probably a cheaper hobby even if you're not going cheap, unless you're going balls to the walls and spending hundreds of dollars on every deck-- which is hard to do even if you're making the most effective deck you can. A lot of the really good cards are cheap and that's by design.

There was a SD recently where every match was 2 minutes or less with the exception of the main event. It had Jinder vs Sheamus squash, Natalya vs Tamina squash, and Slater vs Brodus squash. I think that was the week where Show ran over AJ which I also thought was a really dumb finish (and given the way they're following through with it I stand by that). The lumberjack match and the show/bryan match where henry shoved bryan were good but that one not so much.
