Well now I'm sad. Maybe I'll see if I can find a Monster Hunter one while I'm in Japan, that one looks pretty sweet.

3DS is region locked, so if you get a Japanese 3DS you can only play Japanese games!

difference between Wii Classic Controller and U Classic Controller is that the UPad has everything the U Classic Controller Pro does

default Wii controls can't support CC controls, so if devs want to use CC controls, it means that it's necessary to have the add-on controller

with U, the default controller (the pad), has everything the Classic controller does, so if you want to make a classic game it's not necessary to purchase the add-on controller

No one is forcing any developers to use the touch screen. It's an optional tool.

That's total BS. You honestly think Nintendo is saying to its developers "Use it if you want to, if not DATS cool :) "

did people already forget the upad has another feature? streaming games to the controller screen - ever think about that? you can't use the touchscreen gimmicks when you're using the upad screen as the game screen, so they HAVE to make "classic" control versions

I don't mind developers not having to make up achievements - but if that means there's no universal achievement system, that's terrible. because non-unified achievements are basically worthless

the one and only thing that bothers me about friendcodes is there being no invite system

both parties should not have to add eachother's numbers, it's just really annoying how I've got a few b8ers added to my friendslist but they have no idea, and it is a hassle to have to add.

that's a pretty great price - I'm definitely comfortable with buying this at launch now.


of course, I don't expect others to jump on this because of that, since the software so far is really lacking. but I know the future will have games I want, so I'm fine with spending 300 for a Pikmin machine for the moment
