Really? I always felt that Board 8 loves EarthBound and Mother 3, it's just a couple people that speak out against it or think that highly of it.

And speaking of RPGs, another thing that surprised me was seeing Paper Mario: TTYD so high up (albeit not as high as SMRPG), I honestly did not know it was that well liked.

Aside from the oversaturation of Mario/Zelda, which was to be expected, since when you think of Nintendo you think of those two as their best, I honestly don't find it to be too bad of a list.

The stuff that isn't Mario/Zelda being on there is pretty good if I do say so myself and I really liked seeing Kirby Super Star being so high up there and Kirby's Adventure actually making the list.

Though the only thing I found to be strange was Super Mario Kart being the highest racing game on there but whatever.

Do you have the numbers from our voting? I'm wondering if OoT won easily or if it was tight.

Why yes, OoT has 193 points, while SMB3 had 162 points.
So yeah, it won pretty comfortably, though SMB3 only beat LttP by 1 point.
Basically how the points went down for the most is that there would be a group of games that would be close to each other in points, then a gap in points, then another group that were close in points.

And if you must know, F-Zero GX and FE4 both had 16 points, but since F-Zero GX had a bit more frequency it got precedence, which is how I took care of ties.

Surprised RSE made it and DPP didn't.

At first I thought so too, but if you think about it, the people who constantly keep up with Pokemon would put in their votes for B/W instead, leaving the people who really like R/S/E to put their votes decently high enough for it. Which I guess would the people who really liked the GBA. I mean D/P/P hardly had any votes at all.

Speaking of first time experience, in the credits for SA2 it shows 'Sonic 10th Anniversary' at the end and I still have a 10th Anniversary poster promoting SA2 hanging in my room that I got around its release on Dreamcast.

And now Sega's been promoting Sonic's 20th Anniversary....damn, I'm getting old....

You could just play Sonic Heroes...

And I just did the Hero Story in SA2 in one sitting, man after just playing Sonic Heroes, I actually thankful that the levels are much shorter. But wow, I did not realize how worse the graphics were, though I suppose that a point to be made is that SA2 was originally a Dreamcast game, while Heroes was developed as a GCN/PS2/Xbox game.

Though honestly, I'm not sure if I'd call it much worse than when I initially played it. I was just reminded of all the things that annoyed me when I first played it, but I wasn't really thinking, "WTF, I don't remember it being this bad before."

And maybe I just got lucky, but I didn't have much trouble with Aquatic Mine, now Death Chamber and Meteor Herd on the other hand....

I guess I could use No More Heroes and maybe Bayonnetta as an example

Well for starters these two particular games that you mentioned were originally voiced in English. Particular with Bayonetta where I believe that it is only voiced in English, and No More Heroes didn't have Japanese voicing until the PS3/Xbox 360 version.

So in those cases the voice director has to come up with their own way to present the voices rather than basing off how the Japanese have it, and it generally works out better that way.

Just beat Sonic Heroes, man I have new respect for Big the Cat.
Other than the fact that he use to be voiced by Duke Nukem, he seriously helped get the last 2 Chaos Emerald.
I don't know how it works but somehow using him near the beginning and boosting made him reach them very quickly.

I like SSB 3DS barely edges out SSB Wii U...... as in it makes no sense, because who would be more excited over a portable fighter over its console version? But I guess the Wii U not being out yet would do that.

I think he meant that the guy should've kept Serah on-hold until a good deal after FF XIII-2 came out since it's more focused on her, which I agree on. This day should've just been on whoever was after her.

Hmmm, it would be nice to have Majora's Mask perfectly working for me, since the GCN Collector's Disk has froze on me and my N64 has tendencies to reset itself.
And I'm too much of a Kirby fan not to get free Dream Land.

That just leaves the Dr Mario games if I want to get them....better start filling out those post-play surveys.

In all honest Shadow Dragon is not a bad place to start, it IS a remake of a NES game so it will feel the 'oldest' out of all of them.
The only thing it has over the other games in the series is class changing and there being save points throughout the map, which aren't that important to the rest of the series.

It's a good place to start because it'll make the other ones seem much better and it has Marth in it.
