From: GranzonEx | #282 There's a special place for Bakuman in my heart. I truly am blessed to have followed both Death Note and Bakuman while they were still printing.
Speaking of this....from a post I saw on OT about the latest chapter of Bakuman...
"If we think about it normally, they'll have a new enemy, like a grey (Near) or gold (Mello) one." "Is that a joke!?"
Lulz, Ohba and Obata are really bitter about having to extend DN, aren't they?
Gotta like it when the creators make fun of their own work.
Niren - Christopher Sabat Yuri - Troy Baker Flynn - Sam Regal Garista - J Michael Tatum Hisca - Trina Nishimura Rita - Luci Christian Merzhom - R Bruce Elliot Chastel - Leah Clark Yurgis - Mike McFarland Gradana - Barry Yandell Estellise - Cherami Leigh Alexei - Jason Douglas Elvin - Scott Freeman Raven - Jonathan Brooks Chris - Newton Pittman Emma - Lindsay Seidel Pete - Micah Solusod Hanks - Cris George David - Josh Grelle Ivan - Christopher Bevins Kansuke - Ricco Fajardo
Looks like only Yuri and Flynn got their original voices after all. But those two are the only ones with a huge role, so it's not a real downer.
I'm going to take a guess that they will have it on Friday since it's sort of their exclusive thing, plus they usually have Nintendo games on release date, granted that this isn't really a big name Nintendo game.
From: GuessMyUserName | #034 what's with swordz talking about how much he's not interested in Xenoblade in every topic
Apparently it reminds him of FF XII or something... Well I recall someone saying something like that.
It'll be my first time playing it, but I probably won't be playing it until summer but I already got it pre-ordered. Hope I still get that dinky art book though.
As fun as this any pairing sounds....it just sort of reeks of Radiant Dawn's support system. As in, I don't think we're be getting very unique conversations between the characters.
Might still be nice from a gameplay standpoint though.
That guy never buys manga and doesn't find them worth it, so of course he's going to say no.
Buying any manga is only worthwhile if you're interested in collecting a series, which is why I do. That said I wouldn't really say you should go buy really long-running series unless you're REALLY a fan, and therefore have the money and room for it.
And Viz's translation can be spotty at times, but I don't think a lot of series would actually be affected by it as far as getting the point across. And as far as spotty translations go, I don't think I'll see anything as bad as Bandai's translations for Lucky Star, like I would never want to see 'Onee-chan' written in English for an official release.
I think the only question is whether or not Alexei will still be voiced by Wesker, since that seems like the only voice that could be hard to get back, especially considering how few lines Alexei has, but what do I know?
I kinda like Ichigo vs. Aizen, even if it was pretty one-sided. Guess it was kinda nice to see the god-stomping all animated. And the only Lost Substitute Shinigami arc fight really worth watching was Byakuya vs. Tsukishima JUST for the outcome....and I guess Kenpachi vs. throw-away henchman just for hilarity.
That's definitely one thing I noticed in this game, it's pretty punishing to even get hit. I constantly find myself getting comboed into a stun if I ever get hit, especially when being ganged up by a group of enemies.
Bleach has a slight edge for me because the anime just ended (which I actually followed unlike One Piece or Naruto), and the manga being all NEW AND EXCITING right now.
That's the only thing I'd put Innocence ahead of something, it'd be dead last in about every other category. Innocence R could change that, but I don't see it happening....mainly because I doubt we'll even get it here. >_>
