Do you even believe what you write yourself? Those can't be your own thoughts. Those are your government's thoughts, which they have installed in you and force you to preach to foreigners. We already know what your government believes, what we want to know is what Nanis believes.Do you think there is brainwashing?
Im of the opinion that anyone in Israel hoping for the death of every Palestinian man, woman, child and baby in Gaza can get all the way fucked in this life and any sort of afterlife if such a thing existsAnd what about anyone in Palestine hoping for the death of every Israeli man, women, child and baby in Tel Aviv?
Nanis I seem to recall you were pretty quiet when you're country spent two days rioting in the streets demanding the right to rape your own prisoners.Remind me again?
The Israeli military's own data suggests theyve killed around 350k people in Gaza.Pfff 350k those are rookie numbers, the real death toll is 800k
But you can talk about NYC like you're American. Maybe Israel really wants to be the 51st US state? Trade your authoritarian for another. You are right, that's a valid criticsm
Oh no, not *checks notes* mourning the dead and calling for a lasting peace. At work now, will watch later and respond
Nanis, as Im sure youre aware the term intifada was generally used to mean peaceful struggle until relatively recently. It still is often used that way today. Mamdani has been very clear that he rejects violence and calls to violence and does not regard the term that way. Sure, you can have the discussion about whether or not its an appropriate use of language, thats fair. Its not fair however to imply that Mamdani is deliberately supporting violence through it.
Seriously, watch 3:55 to 9:35 of this interview:
https://youtu.be/ClNKD_6ow-g?si=Q1dFEaTZKVw1FR8l
Mamdani gives an excellent response when asked about his views on Israel and I simply dont understand how anybody can watch that and think hes some kind of threat or even antisemitic himself. And one of the things his campaign did so brilliantly was tackling this issue head on and refuting it rather than just trying to avoid it.
Meanwhile, unlike Mamdani Cuomo has actually been sued for antisemitism!
Your country did a genocide.Cry me a river
Hoo boyThis topic series has been a echo chamber for too long
Incredibly good results in New York so far tonight. Almost a clean sweep for progressives and the left wherever possible. Mamdani has actually increased his lead this around against Cuomo since the early vote that was supposed to favor him, up to an 8.3% lead this round with almost 80% in, despite almost every prediction saying he had no chance of winning round 1 against Cuomo.

Just a bloodbath for Centrists.
Mamdani lets goooo
(I voted Brad first)
Hopefully a sign of things to comeOh, yes, things to come
CNN (and NYT) now reporting that they have a US intelligence assessment of the state of the Iran nuclear facilities post-bombing.I honestly don't know who to believe anymore
mission accomplished
https://www.cnn.com/2025/06/24/politics/intel-assessment-us-strikes-iran-nuclear-sites
The report says the nuclear program was not, in fact, "totally obliterated" and likely only set back by a few months. States that Iran's stock of enriched uranium was not destroyed and that the centrifuges are largely "intact." It's believed that the damage to all three sites was mostly limited to above ground structures which were understandably destroyed but that the underground portions that were actually the core of it all were not.
The Senate was scheduled to have classified briefings on the assessment but those were cancelled and the all-Senate briefing was postponed. Meanwhile, the White House is back to its old, "the news is fake, the leaks are real" shtick where somehow this assessment is an "alleged assessment" that is "flat-out wrong" but also "classified as 'top secret'" and "leaked to CNN by the intelligence community."
congratulations to everyone?
Won't someone please have pity for the poor bullied smol beans who like war and genocide??You are so privileged it disgusts me.
I hope the ceasefire is legit, though I wouldn't be surprised if Trump is speaking out of turn.Well Iran is currebtly bombing us for hour and a half at this point
"Nanis23 posted (in the last topic)...I have no idea how you deal with this clown on a daily basis
|| The problem with a clown president is that I don't even know if I need to take this tweet seriously"
Welcome to OUR LAST GODSDAMNED DECADE.
I assume he has been mediating between them and a deal has been reached. As someone that follows this war for almost two years by now...
It just gives Trump a reason to dramatically escalate. Which he might not do. But it's possible that he does. Why would he? they shot 6 missiles at an evacuated base and all of them intercepted (from what I read)
Honestly, it's just a really stupid move all around. All the reporting I read in the past week stated that a bunker buster wouldn't be able to reach Fordow and you'd need to do multiple runs, landing successive bombs in the same spot. Maybe we did that, but it's still kind of an unknown if it would work and the idea that Trump is claiming it was "completely and totally obliterated" is just... something I don't think we could even know at this point. Even supposing it was, the place was supposedly evacuated some time ago and Iran is believed to have enough enriched uranium in other locations that like... this would at best result in a short delay. That's a very pessimistic view
This isn't even counting that our own intelligence had reached the conclusion that Iran wasn't working on a nuke... until Trump decided by fiat that that was wrong and forced his appointees to parrot him despite having previously saying the opposite. The reporting on that was that Israel's strikes on Iran had likely changed Iran's position to developing nukes and I'd expect these strikes to just cement that.
All that said I'm... not really sure where things go from here. Iran doesn't really have any good options moving forward. They don't have the capability to strike the US directly, presumably the US has moved its personnel and equipment away from areas in the region where they could strike (but with the incompetence of this administration who knows,) Iran was already exhausting its missiles on Israel, they can't really launch any kind of ground offensive because they're separated by other countries who surely would rather not get involved here... I guess if they're feeling desperate or spiteful enough they could try to close the Strait of Hormuz as a "fuck you" to the world economy but that will anger other Gulf states that rely on it for shipping oil...
I dunno, I feel like the strikes between them and Israel will continue... and then it just... hopefully settles down? Only now Iran will be deadset on getting a nuclear weapon for deterrence and the bombings, especially after the US did, will likely result in a rally-around-the-flag effect inside Iran so regime change is probably less likely than it otherwise would have been.
Literally I think the best move for the US for both its aims and really the world was to just fucking do nothing but Trump just couldn't have that.
Oh boy we are citing chat gpt.
Just yikes. Asking AI, really.I am not taking it for a fact
