My main Spotify playlist is a mix of Drum & Bass (DnB), with a little Dubstep, House and EDM mixed in. So it's not gonna be all that varied lol

Edit: @ the above, no it's not truly random. I've noticed that when I add new songs to a Spotify playlist, random shuffle will play those new songs first. And when I have multiple songs from the same album, those songs will often play back to back (and it happens far too frequently to be a coincidence)
