This came out when I was in high school. I was listening to a lot of different stuff at that time but frankly just wasnt much of a Helmet fan.Singles soundtrack?
Around 92 I was definitely being turned on to the Seattle Sound at the time. Nirvana was huge for me (yes I know they were Aberdeen). Pearl Jam had their debut Ten album out, Soundgarden had Badmotorfinger out and Alice In Chains had Dirt.
Of course I was into many other style of music. I was still listening to a lot of the metal I loved from the 80s and then for current heavier stuff I was listening to Pantera. They completely transformed their style on Cowboys from Hell in 1990 and in my opinion 1992 was peak Pantera with Vulgar Display of Power.
I could go on and on but the reality is I was aware of them but just wasnt into Helmet.
