Dalthine posted... Just a heads up, Wide shelling improves shell and wyvernfire damage. Long shelling improves stakes. I use a Wide GL because I like charged shells and wyvernfire spam.
And on another note, using wyvernfire after a Stake Full Blast (the one after a sweep that unloads all shells and a stake) will also cause it to come out much faster.
Oh I'm well aware of what shot types do what kind of extra damage. The normal shelling being for full blasts is good but I feel like the DPS is better with that wyvern stake full burst combo, so makes sense to just do that one.
Also wait, did they change it in this one? Cause wide was always stakes / wyvern blast, long was charged shells, and normal is full bursts. Has something changed in this?
And yeah with artillery and load shells maxed out, a wyvern blast comes almost immediately out after a wyvern stake. I really love what they did to the GL in this game.
