Capcom polled fans recently asking what kind of game they want to see next and a Dino Crisis remake was one of the options so theyre at least somewhat thinking about it.
A fuck ton of Japanese companies are going back and rebooting older titles.
Sega has a bunch in the works like Golden Axe, Jet Set Radio, Crazy Taxi, Shinobi, and others.
SquareEnix has been doing this a lot lately. Not counting FF7 because it's functionally a new game, they've done FF1-6PR, SaGa 1-3 collection, SaGa Frontier, Tactics Ogre Reborn, Live-A-Live, Trials of Mana, DQ3 probably a bunch of others I'm forgetting.
Komami is slow as molasses but they're starting to get stuff out, the Castlevania GBA collection being the most recent. I think I read something about a new Contra as well.
Capcom's remake/reboot/revival opinion survey means they're definitely doing it too although we might not get what we want they're clearly working on some new games for older titles.
