Indie rock peaked in the mid to late 00s and then everything basically turned into bad imitations of RnB.This is not true. Everything has turned into bad imitations of country
I think that's a British English convention mostly. Americans say "is" in these cases far more oftenI'm American, and it is objectively wrong and bad sounding to say "is" when referring to a group of people. Grammatically, all band names function the same. Saying "Nirvana is" is exactly the same as saying "The Beatles is". Just like team names. Nobody would say "the Thunder is" or "the Heat is".
Well this one is just straight up wrong
You hear one Reggaeton song, you've heard them all.I have the same thoughts about Blues music. Some of it all sounds the same the real good music doesn't use that style but still Blues

Crimson and Clover is the worst song of all time.Youre wrong but on the other hand your are right.
Wait, what's Weezer shitposting?Heres some. Weezer sucks! In fact, Undone is physically painful to me. Also, I cannot stomach pop-punk bands with whiny bitch front men. Yes, Blink-182, I am looking at you.
You are wrong music can invoke emotion. That is what defines art.Emphasis more on the serious than art. This is more of something that allowed me to enjoy music more. When I first got into music I would get caught up on real music that I liked and inconsequential music I would dismiss. I find most pop and contemporary music to be enjoyable at some level and not get hung up on the serious business of music.

Rap is garbage and human civilization would lose nothing if it disappeared. Why is it always rap that people like this go after I wonder

I was going to counter with the hate on country, but the tone is consistently different in how people express disdain for one genre vs the other.Id agree that country is unfairly generalized and hated because of mainstream shitty pop country, but as you said, the tone is absolutely different a lot of the time when it comes to shitting on rap as a genre.
Modern metal > classic metalDepends on the subgenre.
Sigilkore is pretty good
Yeezus is a bad album. Almost no good songs.oof i love Yeezus lol. Bound 2, guilt trip, blood on the leaves, and on sight are all so good
Vultures 1 was pretty good.
The Strokes' first album is merely okay.
