I would like to see Trump confined to a cell for jury tampering.
I read that for many potential jurors their old social media posts were being brought up as reasons to disqualify them. It's a reminder that if you're going to post something on social media make sure it's something you wouldn't be embarrassed to have read aloud in a courtroom years later.

It's a reminder that if you're going to post something on social media make sure it's something you wouldn't be embarrassed to have read aloud in a courtroom years later. This really happens a lot. There's another big story in the news (off topic here) where social media posts were a huge factor.

It's a reminder that if you're going to post something on social media make sure it's something you wouldn't be embarrassed to have read aloud in a courtroom years later.Which is pretty common for jury selection. It's a big reason why I said it's going to be difficult for a Trumper to become a stealth juror.
It was inevitable there'd be Trump supporters trying to lie their way onto the jury.
Those questions are typical in a criminal trial? I did jury duty on a civil trial once and only got asked like 3 questionsFor extremely high profile cases this is normal. The list was probably similar for the Derek Chauvin trial.

Pretty sure that guy was seated as juror #6Nice. I'm surprised his lawyers didn't try to get him dismissed.
Is he in prison yet?Maximum sentence is 4 years if convicted
Nice. I'm surprised his lawyers didn't try to get him dismissed.
Yeah, how the hell were they so incompetent to fail at getting him seated? Not complaining, but I hear the cries of bias already.Maybe fat fuck was asleep when it was his lawyers turns to question the guy?

According to the NYT the defense only asked one question.
It's not often we see from Trump for a full day, I have no doubt in my mind this is how he was in the White House during briefings.Remember how they reported that they'd have to pepper the Fanta Menace's name throughout white house briefings to keep him engaged?
Looks like something a chud would buy and hang on their wall."This is what his face would look like if I was pleasuring him!"
Hires only the best lawyers. Well, at this point, hires the only ones stupid enough to work for him.
Asking jurors how they feel about Trump, while he is there, definitely is going to cause him to explode. And probably drag out the selection

lmfao Trump throwing Johnson under the bus days after him and Johnson appeared to be on the same page.
So much for kingmaker.
Asking jurors how they feel about Trump, while he is there, definitely is going to cause him to explode.
Wait, did they really give Trump the ability to be physically present during the 1 on 1 so he could scowl at and intimidate them?
Oh man, I wish I was a potential juror just so I could answer that very question, in slow, meticulous detail, while I stare Trump dead in the eyes"So you want my opinion on Trump. OK. Do you want the the unabridged version (all week), the abridged version (all day) or the executive summary (one hour)?"
"So you want my opinion on Trump. OK. Do you want the the unabridged version (all week), the abridged version (all day) or the executive summary (one hour)?"Judge: You're dismissed
32. Do you have any feelings or opinions about how Mr. Trump is being treated in this case?I would love to be in the courtroom and answer this question. Yes, I feel that mr. trump is being treated with kid's gloves and being given wide latitude while the average joe would currently be sitting in jail.
Yeah, how the hell were they so incompetent to fail at getting him seated? Not complaining, but I hear the cries of bias already.
If Trump gets a hung jury, no real change because a hung jury does not mean this case goes away, it simply means that it has to be retried.
Remember how they reported that they'd have to pepper the Fanta Menace's name throughout white house briefings to keep him engaged?
This trial is a real nail biter
if Trump gets convicted, it doesn't matter if he's sentenced to prison it's the end of his presidental ambitions as it will definitely help in getting him convicted in the other 3 criminal trials against him, Biden will win.
If Trump gets acquitted, he'll win as the narrative will immediately shift that Trump was right all along and these are sham trials designed to try and take him down as the media will definitely pump that narrative and the populace will believe it

I'm a bit worried about one of the jurors admitting they know some of the central park 5 being seated because that alone could give Trump's legal team a leg to stand on for appeal, which could result in an acquittal, I don't think right wing media homed in on this yet to start throwing rage fits and Trump hasn't complained about it on his dying website yet.

Yeah, how the hell were they so incompetent to fail at getting him seated? Not complaining, but I hear the cries of bias already.Every time I think we've reached the bottom of the barrel as far as just how incompetent his lawyers are, they find a new way to surprise me.
Trumps not winning in November barring something insane happening. Even then, I doubt trump has a shot. Too many in his own base don't want him as president.I'm just hoping they don't just fall in line and vote for him in November any way. Seeing how much the GOP has turned the reigns over to Trump after... all this... Is worrying to me.
People don't realize how much smaller his base is today than it was November 2020.
A hung jury/mistrial will be bandied about by chuds and the media the same as an acquittal. They're functionally the same.Chuds have already convinced themselves the trial is a sham and everybody lists their hush money payments as legal expenses, even a guilty verdict won't matter to them.
Wait? What the fux?
National Security Council (NSC) officials include President Trumps name in memos in as many paragraphs as possible to increase the chance he reads them, Reuters reported Wednesday.
NSC officials insert the presidents name in as many paragraphs as we can because he keeps reading if hes mentioned, the report said.
It added that Trump likes short, single-page memos and likes to use visual aides.
