They have proven that they will systemically, culturally, and institutionally take every opportunity to lie and abuse their authority and position in society. As a result, until we clean up and reform policing from the ground up, we should not ever give the cops benefit of the doubt in these contested cases until evidence comes to light that supports their position or statement.
