There is like a bazillion versions of Kang.Yeah, this is my bet. This Kang is defeated in this movie, but there's an after-credits where the real Kang the Conqueror shows up and makes it clear that he's far, far more powerful.

Strange 2 had a good trailer but was a terrible film. Same for No Way Home.No Way Home was amazing and while Strange 2 was a disappointment thinking about it, it was in no way terrible and had some amazing parts.
prediction for the movie:I don't think there's anything wrong with Scott goinig 1 on 1 against Kang. Kang's big threat isn't being immensely powerful, it's that he basically controls reality by manipulating history to put everything in his favor and to make himself basically impossible to get rid of.kang is about to kill scott or cassie, and then another kang comes in to fight the first kang. they tried to send a distress call to the regular world earlier but it didn't seem to go anywhere, but it actually went to another universe thanks to quantum nonsense. all the shots in the trailer of scott being even with kang is just him playing around and letting scott think he's not that powerful, and it's up to the new maybe good kang to help out
