Do nothing and hope no one escalates.
Confront the man verbally to stop/leave/threaten violence.
Confront the man physically by hitting/shoving/kicking.
Try to encourage your girl to leave with you quickly.
Follow the lead of your girl's reaction.
She's his girl now.
Try to get the attention of nearby people.
Threaten sexual harassment/police.

I had a discussion with two female friends and Im tryna see if Im just crazy. They said if their boyfriends didnt at least shove the guy who smacked their ass, theyd lose respect for the bf.

I argued that dudes are way more likely to physically retaliate against another guy than a woman, so its more dangerous for a guy to start physical actions against a dude blatantly stronger than them.

They made it seem like I was just a coward to only have a verbal reaction and to want to leave.

I wanna get thoughts of the bravest people I know, CE.
