Depends on the parent's morals, believes and own psychology really; e.g. anti-drug parents will obviously be more likely to kick out their kid if they find out they're dealing, whereas those who still do drugs themselves may not even bat an eyelid.

Well presumably your parents gave you proper guidance on things like finances and cooking for yourself...I can take care of myself fine, I'm just worried about my guinea pigs. Taking care of them + me is gonna be a bit much to handle. I might have a hook in for housing but that's gonna take a while to get set up. Plus I need to find a new job to stay afloat. All of that plus them might be too much.
Do you have money saved up or a steady job?About $500 saved up. My employer offered to extend my job into the school year which I was gonna say no to because I didn't know my schedule but not sure if I'll be able to attend for the fall semester so I might take her up on it.

Quick update: Got a suitcase (came with a smaller suitcase inside!) so I'm gonna start packing up clothes and stuff like that and get rid of all the boxes and tupperware I have all my stuff in. Went to a couple animal hospitals on the way to get my suitcase and I got a couple numbers for places I could take my guinea pigs if I can't take care of them in the near future. Before I call them I'm gonna talk to my boss and my coworkers to see if they know anyone who could take them in or if they could take care of them.
Rn my biggest priority is getting them to a safe home and from there I'll see if I can stay at a friend's house. Probably not going to be going to school this year until I get all this shit figured out. Military's looking kinda nice now. :)
Also need to get my ID card. I was in the process of getting my license but...Holy smokes!
This is dumb af. Nothing says I love you by setting you up for failure. My advice is to take out a loan and go to college in something worthwhile like medical field or engineering. Going to trade school or the military.
I'd recommend the military tbh. Become uncle sam's bitch, but have your life 50% off. Wish I joined the military and then went to school. Trade school is a great option, but those mf work too hard and often times put their health at risk.
Whatever you do, do not contact them or allow them to contact you. They need to realize that they are dead to you and not even worth being told that by you directly. They need to figure out on their own that any value they ever had to you was thrown out the second they did what they did, and they need to be in a position to psychologically punish themselves for it for a long time before they are ever given even a chance to earn back contact.
Thanks guys I got some good news though. My boss says she knows the owner of a local hardware store who might be able to offer me a job. She also recommended me a 1 bedroom studio apartment place not too far from the hardware store that I can apply to once I get a job straightened out.
