Catholics can and do break all their own rules. They just apologize to God later and do 20 hail Marys and it's all good. I don't know of any other religion that treats its god like an employer you have a begrudging contract with.

Isn't this common knowledge? I thought that "The Pope is good" and "Sex = for making kids only" were the two things that people knew about Catholicism. Are there people out there that don't know Muslims can't eat pork or that Hindus can't eat beef, too?

I had a catholic friend growing up who was smarter than me and really fun to be around. He was pro choice and talked about anal with women and other stuff.

Catholics like protestants, Jews, muslims, etc are not a monolith
