When you sign your name on a document, do you use cursive or print?

I was under the impression that signing a document meant signing your name in cursive. But apparently, some people print. I have seen it way more as of late. Also, at one of my jobs, it said to put my signature in a specific place. When I did that, they said I have to print so it was easier to read, even though my name was on the top of the page. So, what about you guys?

I'm probably the LinkPizza you'll see around. 0001 3388 9537, also.
Neither. My signature is literally just a scribble that vaguely resembles my name. Signatures don't have to be legible, that's why you almost always are expected to print your name elsewhere on the page.

Always cursive if asking for a signature.

People who print their signatures should be thrown into the brig. Don't have a brig? That's your problem. Get one.

I just pull out my phone and shiver in the corner and hiss when anyone gets near.
Cursive. Only time I ever use cursive, actually
"Life's a game. It's meant to be played."
"Amateurs built the Ark. Professionals built the Titanic."
A scribbled combination of both.
I have never been a fan of cursive and only use it for signatures. My signature sucks though.

I made Erik_P admit he's wrong on 5/28/16.
It doesn't matter what your signature is, as long as it's consistent. It can be just an X if you want.
How often do people read this?
Hmmm... 100% cursive...
Que sera, sera. Whatever happens, happens.
...and he was never heard from again.
My signature started as my name in legible cursive, but has since deteriorated into a series of illegible scribbles as I've favored speed over legibility.
Hank Pym changes superhero aliases more often than Hawkman changes origin stories.

My friends call me Vee.
I'm not your friend, buddy.
Most legal documents have you print your name then sign it.

I write my first name and the first letter of my last name in cursive than trail off into a line
And as her clothes all tumbled 'round her, I could hear my heart
The moonlight shown upon her as she lay back in my bed
