This 17 y/o Kid was Violently BEATEN by his FRIENDS after playing XBOX ONE!!!

17 y/o Jared Watts from Ontario, California was violently BEATEN by his own FRIENDS while playing XBOX One because he owed one of them $10 after losing a bet on a match they played!!

He was playing video games with his so called pals on a Sunday afternoon when suddenly it turned dark after they just finished playing an XBOX game..

Jared had apparently made a bet with one of them and lost but then refused to pay and suddenly the 3 turned on him as 2 of them pinned him down and the other began punching him repeatedly until he lost consciousness after the 7th blow. Jared called for his sister, Halyn Leagh to help him..

Hayln said "Yesterday i received the most unexpected call of my life. My brother called me dazed and confused and hardly able to talk, begging me to come pick him up from a friend's house. When i arrived with my boyfriend, he was on the concrete sidewalk in front of an apartment complex in a pool of his own blood bleeding from his mouth, his nose and his ears"

His father, David was shocked when he arrived and said "I passed out almost. He's got blood all over him, unbelievable. They robbed him. They beat him, fractured his skull. The pictures that you'll see should describe it all"

Jared had a fractured skull, a fractured cheek, a fractured nose and 4 broken teeth. Halyn said due to the severity of the orbital fracture, his eye his sinking into the fracture of the bone and he could lose an eye.

The boys who did this to him were 18-20 years old and are now facing charges..they apparently were good friends with the family as they went to high school with Jared and spent time eating DINNER at their house and were shocked they did this to him.

Jared said "I realized when he looked at me with that cold stare that something was going to go on". The men then stole 40 dollars he had in his wallet and his headphones.

The 18 y/o who punched him who hasn't been identified is now charged with robbery and attempted murder. David said "I would love nothing else but to see that boy, that man, spend as much time in prison as possible.". Jared's sister also wants to see justice as Jared will now have to see a plastic surgeon and optometrist as a Gofundme page has been created..

They should have held him down and taken the $10. Not beat the crap out of him and then take $40... and his headphones...

Okay, even with all the stupid involved in this they didn't think about jail time for the beating?

I never lend, borrow, or bet because I'm... aggressive when it comes to getting what's owed to me, and I would rather maintain the friendship than genuinely hate somebody I used to like.

alot of crimes happen because the person honestly thinks for some reason they won't get caught but also, young people aren't done growing their brains. supposedly the brain and specifically the part about predicting future consequences isn't done till like 25 or so. that's why kids do so much stupid shit.

Although what happened was extreme and I wouldn't condone it, he should've just paid it.
Money matters strains any relationship.

Friendship and other intimate relationships are based on trust and mutual respect.

Anyway, perhaps they were more of frenemies rather than real friends.

I have no friends and they certainly wouldn't be my friends if they acted violent towards me. I have however got into the odd tiff with my brother but the most he's ever done physically is push me and I fell over. I was drunk and probably deserved it though. Although I will say he really needs to learn to not get hot and bothered so much.

Don't make bets you don't plan on owning up to. If it was more than a measly $10, the dude would've had that coming all the way. People that back out when they lose are the absolute worst. If the roles were reversed, they'd be a pain in the ass about getting their winnings from you.

The attackers are all 18+, don't call them boys. Thankfully they'll be tried as adults and hopefully go to prison for a long time.
Victim's probably going to have CTE later in life from this, too.
