Which do you prefer?

??
I love girls' feet.
Action novel writer.
I play soccer,but I don't like to watch either.
Know it or not, man treads between twin abysses a tightrope that has neither beginning nor end.
i like both sports but soccer is king.

i like both sports

And to add to this, I only pay attention to the major games (i.e. World Cup, Superbowl, etc). I don't follow any teams/nation and only care about seeing a good game.

American football.
Donald J. Trump--proof against government intelligence.
I like both but football is more fun to watch imo. Replay is sucking the fun out of it though.
They both suck to watch at a professional level. Football is 15 minutes of gameplay and then the rest is commercials and old guys giving commentary. Soccer's main issues could be solved by making it a contact sport. Football is better either way, though.

I do enjoy watching creative plays or maneuver that normally would not work at the professional level.

Football by far
Hockey. Soccer is too slow, the flopping annoys me, and frankly I find arbitrary rules like 'you can't use your hands!' idiotic.

American football is also too slow, but my beef with it is mainly that the rules are intentionally vague so they can manipulate the outcomes. Holding, pass interference, even catching the ball are all called so subjectively and inconsistently that it's obvious that they call the games to get the result they desire.

I have complaints about the NHL, but I love hockey.
BADoglick to the Max!
How is not being able to use your hands an arbitrary rule? I dont think you know what that word means
Soccer, because I really get into the World Cup.

I like american football for the strategic value it has.

European style promotion and relegation would make the NFL a hell of lot better, though.
You mean Handegg vs Real Football.

Real Football

Still real football.

You use your FOOT to hit the BALL.

In American Handegg the grand total amount of times the BALL is touched with a FOOT is 11 times per game on average.

Good stuff, right?

It's called football everywhere except the US. Because, well, it's about playing with a ball and your feet.
American football is mostly about holding the ball and throwing so it should look for a better name. (Handball is already taken by another sport.) Handegg sounds dumb.

The only fun thing about football (soccer for americans) is the competitiveness between countries every 2 year when there's a continental or world cup. During (semi or quarter) finals nobody goes to work and the streets are empty.
I don't care about club football and the multi millionaires playing their (sometimes fixed) matches.
Soccer is babies rolling on grass bawling, while 'murican handball is slow people in handicap armor pretending they know rugby.

God, this is a hard choice.

like the european custom of throwing banana peels at black players while making monkey noises?
Both are unwatchable.

Hockey is the way to go.
If you make an intelligent post, people tend to ignore it because they only respond to stupid. Don't believe me? Just look at most of the chained replies.

This sounds like an American thing, like how Americans think the rest of the world is anti-semitic to defend their nonsense.

"extremely rare" in america. happens pretty commonly in europe
promotion and relegation would be crazy in the nfl. you could argue the browns dont deserve to be in the nfl having accomplished nothing of note in their 1999+ history but relegated? god damn
Rugby or Football? Going with Football although both are awful.

england came up with the term soccer, blame them.
Soccer is fun to watch for about 2 weeks every 4 years. That's the limit.
I've watched 30 minutes of soccer in my life. That was enough.

Soccer. Can't stand American football - way too much stopping and starting. I like games that have actual flow to them (hockey, basketball, soccer, etc.).

I was actually pleasantly surprised when an Australian friend of mine made me sit down and watch a rugby game, because it was like American football from some parallel universe where American football was actually interesting.

Kill 100 men: You are a hero. Kill 10,000 men, you are a conqueror!

so people running around but barely ever scoring is interesting? games ending in draws is interesting? adding time back to the clock is interesting? just pause the clock and then resume, its the same damn thing only better

American Football, though I watch usually just the Superbowl.
