It's no different than your average East/West coast city
All the regions have some cities notorious for gang violence, but the Midwest is probably one of the worst; Chicago's consistently held the title of the country's murder capital for god knows how long, and then there's places like Detroit, Milwaukee, St Louis, East St Louis, North Minneapolis & several others.
If theres ever going to be another civil war , its gonna start in the Midwest. Racism is real over there. On many sides.
