All the worlds in SMW look the same. I like SMB3 because every world felt different and always was able to hit it's unique theme.
SMW all looks the same. How is Yoshi Island and Donut Plains different? Vanilla Cave is just a bunch of generic underground levels
They would had different backrounds and tile sets for every world. Make yoshi island feel like a tropical island. Make Vanilla Cave a diamond mine.
